Hey, there are plans to design a government app. When a citizen will login they will see their passport, driving license etc...
What is the solution of avoiding mandatory in-app user data deletion?

Can someone please guide me on the entire process of integrating ads in an IOS application using google's admob sdk? Not related to code but things related to Apple's privacy policy. Which options do need to select or specify in my app profile's privacy policy (identifier) section?
Hello,
I am working on a script to update an application which bundle ID changed. Only the bundle ID was modified; all other aspects remain unchanged.
This application requires access to "Screen & System Audio Recording" permissions, which are currently granted to the old bundle ID.
The script performs the following steps:
launchctl bootout gui/$(id -u) /Library/LaunchAgents/com.my_agent_1.plist
pkgutil --forget com.my_agent_1
tccutil reset All com.my_agent_1
rm /Library/LaunchAgents/com.my_agent_1.plist
rm -rf </path/to/com_my_agent_1>
installer -dumplog -allowUntrusted -pkg </path/to/com_my_agent_2.pkg> -target /
...
When running steps #1-6 without a restart between steps #5 and #6, the old bundle ID (com.my_agent_1) remains visible in TCC.db (verified via SQL queries).
Looks like this is the reason why "com.my_agent_2" is not automatically added to the permission list (requiring manual add).
Moreover, "tccutil reset All com.my_agent_1" does not work anymore, the error:
tccutil: No such bundle identifier "com.my_agent_1": The operation couldn’t be completed. (OSStatus error -10814.)
Is there any way to completely clear the "Privacy & Security" permissions without requiring a system restart?
Thank you a lot for your help in advance!
Hi, we were recently approved for the com.apple.developer.web-browser.public-key-credential entitlement and have added it to our app. It initially worked as expected for a couple of days, but then it stopped working. We're now seeing the same error as before adding the entitlement:
Told not to present authorization sheet: Error Domain=com.apple.AuthenticationServicesCore.AuthorizationError Code=1 "(null)"
ASAuthorizationController credential request failed with error: Error Domain=com.apple.AuthenticationServices.AuthorizationError Code=1004 "(null)"
Do you have any insights into what might be causing this issue?
Thank you!
Hello,
Is there any way to detect if the iOS screen is currently being shared via FaceTime or iPhone Mirroring?
Our application relies on this information to help ensure that users are not accessing it from one location while physically being in another.
Hi team, if I log into my app on Safari and try to enroll/challenge MFA security key option, I will be able to see this pop-up that gives me the option to pick either passkeys or external security keys
However, my team member who's using the same version of safari, can only see the external security key option
Why is this?

I have configured DKIM and amazon's default spf. but can't get emails using Amazon Send, do I have to configure a custom domain name here for this to work, I'd like to get a definitive conclusion!
Hi,
I hope someone is able to help me with this query:
Is there a mandatory requirement to display a view before presenting the App Tracking Transparency modal to explain to the user why the app is asking for tracking? I see there are a few apps which do this, but I don't see any mention of this as a mandatory requirement within the app store review guidelines. The modal can be customised with a description detailing why the app is asking for tracking and I believe this may be sufficient to pass an app store review.
The guidelines also mention that the app must provide access to information about how and where the data will be used. We have these details in our privacy policy which is accessible from within the app. Is this sufficient or do we need a pre-modal view which contains a direct link the the privacy policy.
Any advice on this would be much appreciated.
Step1. Update system.login.screensaver authorizationdb rule to use “authenticate-session-owner-or-admin”( to get old SFAutorizationPluginView at Lock Screen ). Here I will use my custom authorization plugin.
Step 2. Once the rule is in place, logout and login, now click on Apple icon and select “Lock Screen”.
Is there a way programmatically to update the Lock Icon and the test getting displayed on the first Unlock screen? When I write a custom authorisation plug-in, I am getting control of the text fields and any consecutive screen I add from there on. But all I want is to update the lock icon and text fields on 1st unlock display itself. Can you please suggest how I can achieve this? Here is the screenshot with marked areas I am looking control for.
In response to inquiries from users, we have confirmed the following phenomenon.
If you select "Private email address" in the flow of new user registration with Apple ID, you will not receive the verification code email when performing two-factor authentication.
■User impact
If you use your Apple ID to link an external account without making your email address public, you will not receive the authentication code during two-factor authentication and will not be able to proceed. The date and time of the impact is currently unknown.
◎Impact 1: New registration
If you select "Private email address" in the flow of registering a new user with Apple ID, the verification code will not be received during two-factor authentication and registration will not be completed.
◎Impact 2: Login of existing account
When two-factor authentication is required for an existing account registered with Apple ID set to "Private email address," the verification code is not received and the user cannot log in.
→If you have not registered a login method other than Apple ID for the relevant account, there is no other way to log in.
■About workarounds
・I thought that I could avoid this issue by canceling the private setting of my Apple ID, but I was unable to do so.
→There is currently no workaround found for existing users who are experiencing this issue.
・However, the scope of influence is limited.
■Cause investigation status
Premise: For an Apple ID whose email address is not made public, the two-factor authentication authentication code email follows the following route.
①CDC/GIGYA
miraiz-persol.jp (SendGrid)
Apple's email server (relay server to hide the user's real email address)
User mailbox
→Since '1' are working, the problem seems to have occurred after the connection from ② or ③.
(At this stage, we cannot determine who is at fault: the user, MIRAIZ, or Apple. We are currently investigating.)
◎Hypothesis
・Is there something wrong with Apple's mail server?
・Is it not delivered because the user's mailbox is full?
■Questions, research, and responses we would like to receive
Please check the following two points and reply.
1st point
As shown in the attached image, there seems to be no problem with the SPF settings.
Is it possible to check to see if any errors have occurred with Apple's mail server?
2nd point
Are there any cases where you still can't receive emails even if you deactivate your Apple ID?
I would like to know if there are any patterns in which emails are not being delivered in terms of past inquiries or overall specifications

Hi,
Just follow the related post to implement this method in the app, but it gave me error, like: "An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made"
the info plist configuration like below,
NSPinnedDomains
mysite.com
NSIncludesSubdomains
NSPinnedCAIdentities
SPKI-SHA256-BASE64
r/mIkG3eEpVdm+u/ko/cwxzOMo1bk4TyHIlByibiA5E=
The pub key is right for me, since it works when I use different pub key pinning through URLSession interface.
So here, I dont know where to start the troubleshooting, any advice would be appreciated.

We’ve identified an issue in our app where, upon clicking the "Call Customer Center" button, users are unexpectedly shown a logo and message option on a native pop-up window.
However, this wasn't the case before, and it should only display a phone number to dial, which was given inside our code.
This is incorrect and misleading for our users, as:
We are a Canadian-based service and have no affiliation with US messaging chat.
The messaging feature was never enabled or intended for our app.
Our app should only initiate a phone call to our customer support center — no messages or branding from third parties should appear

During SmartCard pairing the PIN prompt enables the OK button only on user provides a PIN of 6 digits. Is there a way to submit the empty PIN in this flow, where the custom CTK is used here (the custom CTK would take care of the PIN from the custom ctk code). I was able to do an empty PIN submit once the I've paired the user successfully at login, unlock and other cli tools. Is there a way to do the same during the pairing?
Once the user has successfully paired with the SmartCard authentication with PIN, I was able to see most of the authentication flows was prompting for the PIN authentication like login, unlock, CLI tools like ssh, su etc., perhaps at few apps where it is still prompted with the Password instead of PIN examples, when I tried to launch Keychain Access app or Add a user from users&groups system setting.
Is this expected behaviour?

Tryed to log them out but window did keep close. Gmail did flag like crazy and wanted me to change pw. how the fuck when I lost control of my phone?!?!??! Just lock it god Damn. let’s make it short! I shared network to pc from my phone With usb. I don’t just think it whas a attacker program as Gmail did flag. I think I did get mirror linked on my android and maybe my iphone. Had a real struggle to reset my pc and phones before it worked. My iPhone drains battery like crazy and feels laggy sometimes. A non registered number whas added to two Gmail’s that they did try to change pw multiple times. did notice I Linux pc activity on my fb and some other stuff. My iphone do reboot still sometimes and every second reboot wifi/bluet can’t be activated and mobile share change pw as the original one did look. Next reboot all work and are the same again. Iam scared that iam still hacked or havent removed him from everything. How can I make sure that Iam still not mirror linked and that he or she can’t access anything? Sorry for the long text but iam scared as fuck.

Without developer mode, I was able to get Password AutoFill to work in my SwiftUI app with my local Vapor server using ngrok and adding the Associated Domains capability with the value webcredentials:....ngrok-free.app and the respective apple-app-site-association file on my local server in /.well-known/. (works on device, but not in the simulator).
However, if I use the developer mode (webcredentials:....ngrok-free.app?mode=developer) it only works halfway when running from Xcode: I get asked to save the password, but the saved passwords are not picked up, when I try to login again. Neither on device, nor in the simulator. If I remove the ?mode=developer it seems to work as expected.
Is this by design, or am I missing something?
var body: some View {
...
Section(header: Text("Email")) {
TextField("Email", text: $viewModel.credentials.username)
.textContentType(.username)
.autocapitalization(.none)
.keyboardType(.emailAddress)
}
Section(header: Text("Passwort")) {
SecureField("Passwort", text: $viewModel.credentials.password)
.textContentType(.password)
}
...
}

I must be missing something. How can an iphone that is in lockdown mode, using ONLY data, no Bluetooth connected and only one singular iPhone have seven UNLISTED items on the local network in privacy and settings?
I'm trying to use ASWebAuthenticationSession on macOS but there is a weird crash and I have no idea what to do.
It looks like there is a main thread check in a framework code that I have no control over.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
The stack of crashed thread has no symbols, even for supposedly my code in OAuthClient.authenticate.

Our company developed an app that relies on the collected list to display the phone's label in the list when the user's phone receives an incoming call. However, we have been rejected. The main reason for the rejection is as follows:
“ Guideline 1.1.6 - Safety - Objectionable Content
The app still allows users to unblock and reveal blocked incoming numbers to identify the individual calling or texting, which is not appropriate. Specifically, your app claims to offer the call blocking functionality, but solely identifies numbers that the user has explicitly blocked themselves.
Since users can choose to hide their caller ID in iPhone Settings, apps should not attempt to circumvent this iOS feature to reveal the caller's number. ”
But our developers clearly stated that there is no way to bypass these settings, and CallDirectory Extensionde cannot directly "unlock hidden numbers" or bypass the built-in restrictions of IOS. We don't know how to solve this problem next, and hope to get everyone's help.
