Apple Watch Connectivity Issues XCode
Whenever I try to build on my Apple Watch using Xcode, I often encounter connection issues. It typically takes about an hour of troubleshooting, including restarting devices, restarting Xcode, erasing the Apple Watch, and other steps. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced similar problems and if there are any effective solutions.

Issue with Paying Apple Developer Fee Using Prepaid Card in Cameroon
Hello Apple Developer Community, I am encountering an issue while trying to pay the $119.99 Apple Developer Program fee through the Apple Developer app. I have linked a prepaid card to my Apple ID, which works perfectly fine for other purchases and subscriptions, but I am unable to complete the payment for the developer fee. Here are the details of the issue: Payment Method: Prepaid card connected to my Apple ID. Amount: $119.99 (Apple Developer Program fee). Location: Cameroon. Other Transactions: All other purchases and subscriptions using the same prepaid card have been processed successfully without any issues. When I attempt to pay for the developer fee, the payment doesn’t go through, and I receive an error message (Payment Failed). I’ve verified that my card has sufficient funds and that the information is correctly entered in my Apple ID account settings. Has anyone else faced a similar issue, particularly with prepaid cards or payments in Cameroon? Any advice or guidance on how to resolve this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

SceneKit Performance Issues with Large Node Counts on iPad (10th Gen, iPadOS 18.3)
We’re developing an iPad application that visualizes 2D and 3D building floor plans, including a mesh network of nodes that control lighting and climate. The node count ranges from 1,000 to 15,000. We’re using SceneKit to dynamically render the floor plan and node mesh on an iPad 10th generation running iPadOS 18.3. While the core visualization works, we are experiencing significant performance degradation as the node count increases. Specifically: At 750–1,000 nodes, UI responsiveness noticeably declines. At 2,000 nodes, navigating the floor plan becomes nearly unusable. We attempted to optimize performance with a Geometric Pool algorithm, but the impact was minimal. Strangely, the same iPad handles 30,000+ 3D objects effortlessly when using Unity or Unreal Engine, raising the question of whether SceneKit may not be optimized for this scale. Our questions: Is SceneKit suitable for visualizing such large node counts, or are we hitting an inherent limitation of the framework? Are there best practices or optimization techniques for SceneKit that we might be missing? Should we consider a hybrid approach or fully transition to a different 3D engine for this use case? We’ve attached a code sample below demonstrating the issue. Any insights, suggestions, or experiences would be greatly appreciated! ContentView.swift

iOS devices in CI get lost
Hello. We have a few iOS devices connected to CI macs. We test our 3D engine, so we really need hardware devices for that. The issue is that Xcode loses connection to the devices once in a while, mostly after mac reboot, which requires a human to enter test room and unplug and plug cable again. Even if device is visible and accessible in Finder, Xcode may still don't see it, and devicectl shows it as disconnected. Are there any hacks to make connection stable? The best what we could achieve so far was to remove iOS device screen lock - otherwise mac reboot would in 100% cases require human interaction to reconnect the device. Both iOS and mac are logged into the same Apple ID. Mac is logged in automatically after reboot iOS devices have no screen lock Thank you.

WKWebView
I am using Xcode 15.2. I am loading a URL in a WKWebView, but a hand cursor appears above the web view. Scrolling up and down does not work. I tried adjusting the scroll bounds and isUserInteractionEnabled, but the hand cursor is still visible. How can I fix this?

Feedback - Can you provide renewal status to account page?
Hi recently when I renewed my Developer account, which had expired I found out it takes 24 hours for the active to be renewed. But your account page does not provide notice of this, and was very confusing for me! I had to spend the time to contact support to find this out - can we please just have a 'renewal pending' status instead displayed to our developer's accounts? I would greatly appreciate this! Best Regards, Justin

recurringPaymentRequest and Authorize.net
I am seeking clarification on recurringPaymentRequestwith Apple Pay. I am using the Apple Pay JS API to make a recurring payment request. My Payment processor is Authorize.net. The initial payment processes fine via the token. My question is, how can my web application process the subsequent payment? Authorize.net doesn't allow me to set up an ARB (Automated Recurring Billing) profile for Apple Pay tokens, unlike Credit Cards. How would I go about obtaining another token for the customer? I cannot find good documentation on the recurring billing setup with Apple Pay and Authorize.net anywhere. Thank you in advance for any guidance you can give me regarding recurring billing with Apple Pay. I created an endpoint for the tokenNotificationURL but I do not believe this endpoint receives POSTs when a recurring billing event occurs, and only other lifecycle events are logged. https://developer.apple.com/documentation/apple_pay_on_the_web/applepaypaymentrequest/3955946-recurringpaymentrequest/

Build input file cannot be found
I have a project that imports SPM swift-navigation which in-turn imports SPM https://github.com/pointfreeco/swift-perception I have a test target it builds and runs with no issues in XCode however if I run with xcodebuild i get the below error (I have done basics removed derived data etc.) ❌ error: Build input file cannot be found: '/Users/chris/mtp-iOS-retail-iPhone/build/Build/Products/Debug/PerceptionMacros'. Did you forget to declare this file as an output of a script phase or custom build rule which produces it? (in target 'Perception' from project 'swift-perception')

Example: I have a state var curHighScore declared in ContentView. I select it, right click and select "Find Selected Symbol in Workspace" The result is : 1 resul in 1 file, i.e. the line of declaration of the var But obviously, the same var is used at line #102: How come this occurence is not found by the search command. Such happens every now and then. Is there something I am missing ? What is causing this ? Thanks for your help.

XCode 16.2 forgets my git credentials constantly
Like the title says, I'll commit some changes no problem with my Git name and email displayed properly, then work for a while longer and when use the integrate menu to stage and commit I find the git name/email are empty. My credentials are properly entered in settings. The only fix i've found is quitting and restarting. Any less frustrating option?

Notice of Termination
Dear Apple Support Team, I am Tianwei Yue. I received your email this morning regarding the immediate termination of our Apple Developer Program License Agreement and Apple Developer Agreement, citing alleged fraudulent behavior and violation of certain terms. We were very surprised by this notice and are deeply concerned about the matter. Firstly, the email mentioned that if we wish to file an official complaint under the applicable Platform Regulation, we could do so by contacting you via “Contact Us”. However, when I logged in with my account and clicked the “Contact Us” link, the system responded with “You’re not eligible to make this request”. We would appreciate guidance on how to properly submit an official complaint or if there is an alternative way to get in touch for further assistance. Secondly, we operate the “mathos ai” application under this account, which currently enjoys over one million users and maintains a rating of 4.6 on the App Store. Our team has always been proactive in handling user accounts, refunds, and payment issues, and we are committed to providing high-quality service to our users. Therefore, we are puzzled by the suspension of our account and believe there might be some misunderstanding or miscommunication. We sincerely hope to connect with the appropriate Apple personnel to understand the issue in detail and provide any necessary additional information to resolve any concerns. Thank you very much for taking the time to read our email. We look forward to your response and guidance. Sincerely, Tianwei Yue

Problem with simulator (Asked again)
I already asked this, although I want to ask again so it boots and gets more people; When I try to run my project on the simulator, it tells me there is a bug. It is not in the code I wrote, but I believe in the compiler. It would work perfectly, say the build succeeded, but the phone turns white and stops there. I don't know how to debunk it, what to do! Picture of what happens with the phone: Picture of the debugging area: Picture of my code: If I need to add more things, please let me know. Have a great day!

Sequential Animation on Reality Composer Pro
Dear Developers, I am having some problems with Reality Composer Pro on Mac. Specifically, I don't understand how to manage some timeline functions. I have an object that has a double animation, an opening animation and a closing animation. On a first tap the object should open through animation 1, while on the second tap the object should close through animation 2. Only the two animations conflict. In addition, animation 1 does not stop at the last frame but returns the object to the position of frame 0. Do you have any solutions? Thank you all

Fetch Changes not working Xcode 16.2
I have cloned a private repo from GitHub and for the most part it seems to be working fine. e.g. commit, push and pull are working. However, Fetch Changes doesn't seem to work at all. It pops up a brief message as if it is working, but the status of my local branch under the Source Control Navigator -> Repositories does not get updated. Even after a push, the status still tells me I am ahead on the local branch. If I add a new file on the GitHub website, Fetch Changes will not see it and the repository status remains unchanged. All of these changes are immediately visible in 'Fork' (3rd party Git GUI). If I restart Xcode the status is updated correctly, but it does not keep up with further changes. Anything I can do other than avoid using Xcode for GitHub tasks? Update: This might just be a problem with the Source Control Navigator views not updating. I just found that if I change branch, the "Repositories" section will not reflect the branch change until I exit and re-enter that view. e.g. click on "Changes" and back into "Repositores" to see the update. That workaround does not impact the out of date repo status though (how many commits am I ahead or behind). Seems very buggy...

How to exclude header files from 3rd party pods from getting the Apple Clang warning policies?
I have the 'warnings as errors' policy set to Yes for Apple Clang and Swift compiler. As far as I know, there is no way to make exceptions to the warning policies from Swift compiler (correct me if I am wrong), what about Clang warning policies, specifically when it comes to header files from 3rd party pods? They don't show up on the Compile Sources so I can't apply flags such as -Wno-error=deprecated to them. Adding #pragma GCC... to them won't help as a fresh pod install will wipe the #pragma statements out. Is there a way to exclude the header files from pods from getting the warning policies from Clang so I won't see errors from them when compiling Clang modules that's a part of the build process?
