In our Unity App for iOS build, when we opened the PDF from the app, it is automatically opening in landspace mode instead of portrait. In the android and windows apps, we are able to open in the portrait mode. We tried to make the changes in the project settings but it did not change.
Any way in which we can acheive this would be helpful for us.

How do I download the iPad Air (5th generation) 18.3 simulator? I activated my Mac and only have version 18.2 available.
I need to test the simulator that they are testing, but I can't because I don't have version 18.3 available. I only have the iPad version 18.2 available and the application works fine on that version.
I have already added logs in different parts of the application, but in the files that you shared with me no log appears. The macOS operating system is macOS Drought.

I'm a newbie to on-demand resources and I feel like I'm missing something very obvious. I've successfully tagged and set up ODR in my Xcode project, but now I want to upload the assets to my own server so I can retrieve them from within the app, and I can't figure out how to export the files I need.
I'm following the ODR Guide and I'm stuck at Step #4, after I've selected my archive in the Archives window it says to "Click the Export button", but this is what I see:
As shown in the screenshot, there is no export button visible. I have tried different approaches, including distributing to appstore connect, and doing a local development release. The best I've been able to do is find a .assetpack folder inside the archive package through the finder, but uploading that, or the asset.car inside it, just gives me a "cannot parse response" error from the ODR loading code. I've verified I uploaded those to the correct URL.
Can anyone walk me through how to save out the file(s) I need, in a form I can just upload to my server?
Thanks,
Pete
am I correct in thinking that local agentsic coding is going to come to Xcode at some point ? I'm thinking cursor ai or windsurf / cline style.

I have received email about your development certificate has been revoked, but couldn't identify who did that, due to this revocation one of our enterprise application stopped working. So posting here to seek some suggestion on following
1.) Identification of Revoking Party: Though I have already raised a support ticket to Apple still waiting for their reply. Is it possible for Apple to send logs or account activity logs that from which account or who did the revocation?
2.) How much does Apple take to reply to the support tickets.
3.) No one else received email in my development team. Is it because the certificate which I created is revoked that's the reason only I have received email?
4.) May I know what are the other scenarios that certificate can be revoked other than a human error?
5.) Is there a way for us to internally monitor activity within our developer account, such as identifying who has been actively logged in and updating certificates?
Hello. I face such a problem as the fact that the screen does not work after turning on the developer mode. Read more: I'm trying to install an application that is not available in the App Store, and after installing it, I'm required to use developer mode. I turn it on, restart the phone, and the screen lits up in front of me that everything is ready to use the developer mode, and you just need to swipe up. I'm trying to do it, but the screen doesn't respond to my touch at all. I tried to restart the phone, but it didn't help. I reset it to factory settings - it didn't help either. I would like to hear advice from those people who have faced the same problem, or from those who know how to solve it.

I've encountered a strange issue with Swift and I wonder if this is a compiler error or if I didn't understand something correctly.
The following sample code shows a weird issue (please ignore that the demo code itself would not make that much sense in this form, it's just the version from a big and more complicated project, where this would make more sense):
class Test {
var data: [String:[String:String]] = [:]
func test() {
let setValue: ((String, String, String) -> Void) = { [weak self] key, id, value in
if self!.data[key] == nil {
self!.data[key] = [:]
}
let oldValue = self!.data[key]![id]
if oldValue == nil {
self!.data[key]![id] = value
}
}
setValue("0", "1", "2")
}
}
When changing the "data" dictionary through the closure within the "test()" function, everything works as expected until the "if" condition where the oldValue is checked against nil. If I set a break point to this condition, the Xcode debugger tells me that oldValue is nil (which is expected), but the code within the if condition is NOT executed. The comparison oldValue == nil should be be true (because oldValue is actually nil), but the compiler seems to assume something else.
But If I do not user "self!" but instead "self?" then it does work as expected and the code within the if condition is executed.
What I am missing here? Is this the correct behavior or a compiler bug?
I am developing a Flutter app for food delivery (a multivendor e-commerce restaurant app).
In the vendor app (Android), I successfully implemented a background notification that stays active until the vendor responds with either Accept or Decline.
This works fine on Android, but I cannot get the same functionality working on iOS.
My requirements:
Vendor should receive a background notification.
The notification should include action buttons (Accept / Decline).
It should remain active until the vendor takes action.
My questions:
Is this possible to implement in iOS with Flutter?
If yes, what is the recommended way (e.g., firebase_messaging, flutter_local_notifications, flutter_foreground_task, or native iOS integration)?
Are there any iOS restrictions I should consider compared to Android background services?
I built this for Android using firebase_messaging + flutter_foreground_task + flutter_local_notifications.
On iOS, I tried setting up firebase_messaging and flutter_local_notifications, but I’m unable to keep the notification persistent with Accept/Decline action buttons.
I expected similar behavior to Android, but it seems iOS has more restrictions around background services and notification handling.
Dependencies I am using (relevant ones):
firebase_core: ^3.8.0
firebase_messaging: ^15.1.5
flutter_local_notifications: ^17.2.2
flutter_foreground_task: ^8.17.0
get: ^4.7.2
shared_preferences: ^2.3.2

Hello,
There seems to be a regression with macOS SDK 15 and dynamically loading libraries if Address Sanitizer is turned on. Seems to only affect Debug builds, and .frameworks. I've also reported this via the Feedback Assistant: FB16513866
Here's a minimal repro, if anyone is interested: https://gist.github.com/peter-esik/6b00432e411be85333e14ae7d953966e
I thought I'd post this here, as according to my web searches, this isn't a very well-known bug at this point.
I am a solo developer building a cross-platform voice assistant app using Capacitor (with HTML, JS) and Xcode for the iOS version. The app is called "Echo Eyes," and it already functions well as a Progressive Web App (PWA). However, the iOS build has been completely blocked due to persistent sandbox permission errors from macOS during the CocoaPods framework embedding phase.
This issue has caused severe disruption to my project and personal well-being, and I am writing to formally request assistance in identifying a clear solution. I am not a beginner and have followed all known best practices, forums, and Apple guidance without success.
What I’ve Built So Far:
Fully working PWA version of the app (voice input, HTML/JS interface)
Capacitor initialized with ID: com.echo.eyes.voice
Capacitor iOS platform added with CocoaPods
App runs fine until Xcode reaches: [CP] Embed Pods Frameworks
The Exact Problem:
Sandbox: bash(12319) deny(1) file-read-data /Users/Shared/projects/Echo_Mobile/ios/App/Pods/Target Support Files/Pods-App/Pods-App-frameworks.sh
Command PhaseScriptExecution failed with a nonzero exit code
Clarification:
This is not an HTML/JS issue. The failure occurs in Xcode long before web assets are embedded into the bundle. The shell script /Pods-App-frameworks.sh cannot be read due to macOS sandbox restrictions.
Everything I’ve Tried:
Gave Xcode and Terminal Full Disk Access
Ran: sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine on the entire Pods directory
Added /bin/bash and /bin/sh to Full Disk Access (after confirming the exact shell via $SHELL)
Attempted to disable Gatekeeper via Terminal: sudo spctl --master-disable (confirmed not effective without GUI toggle)
Tried relocating project to /Users/Shared/projects/
Cleaned build folder, removed derived data, reinstalled pods
Debugged shell usage with: echo "▶️ Embedding under shell: $SHELL" in the [CP] Embed Pods Frameworks script
Attempted to grant shell access to Documents Folder, Desktop, and more via Files & Folders
Current State:
Despite following all known and recommended steps, Xcode continues to return the same sandbox error. The shell script that embeds the CocoaPod frameworks is denied permission to read its own contents by macOS.
What I Am Asking For:
Is this a known issue in current versions of macOS or Xcode regarding sandbox denial for shell execution inside Pods?
Is there a recommended method to grant /bin/bash or /bin/sh permission to read and run these scripts under Xcode without compromising system security?
Is moving the project outside /Users (e.g. to /Projects) the only real workaround?
Are there official Apple workarounds or entitlements available for developers encountering this?
Personal Note:
This issue has caused significant emotional and physical distress. I’m building this app as a personal healing tool and companion. I’ve poured months of work into this and done everything I can to follow Apple’s development guidelines.
I’m not asking for hand-holding — only a clear, respectful response confirming whether this is expected behavior and what can be done to resolve it.
Thank you for your time and understanding.
Hi All,
I have an App on AppStore, recently the minimum supported version of the app was changed from iOS 12 to iOS 14.
Post that the TestFlight builds are crashing on launch.
If we revert the minimum supported iOS version to 12, the crash no longer happens.
This project is using cocoapods, and from the crash logs it seems the issue with with PLCrashReporter framework.
"EXC_CRASH" Termination reason: DYLD 9 weak-def symbol not found '__ZN7plcrash3PL_5async15dwarf_cfa_stateljiE10push_stateEv'.
This issue is happening only on TestFlight builds where the minimum supported version is 14.0
Any pointer to a solution is welcome.
I would like to know if macOS DEXT supports the following networking features: Tx/Rx Multiqueue, RSS, RSC, NS/ARP offload, PTP or packet timestamping and TSN.
I couldn't find relevant documentation for these features in the Apple Developer Documentation.
If they are supported, could you let me know which features are supported and how to find the corresponding official Apple documentation?
Thanks

Here is my sample code of integration with iCloud
let dbName = "GroceryItem1"
let fieldName = "todoTitle1"
@objc func saveItem(name: String) {
let record = CKRecord(recordType: dbName)
record.encryptedValues[fieldName] = name
database.save(record) { record, error in
if error == nil {
DispatchQueue.main.asyncAfter(deadline: .now() + 2) {
self.fetchItems()
}
} else {
print("Error saving item: \(error?.localizedDescription ?? "Unknown error")")
}
}
}
Now my code works fine but what i don't understand is when i login to icloud.developer.apple.com why am i able to see the data, why is it not encrypted?
My database is private as well
If i go to record types i can see the recordfield is encrypted as shown in below screenshot
If an iOS app gets terminated by watchdog due to, for example, hanging the main thread, is that considered to be a crash or something different.
I'm asking because, according to google and AI, Crashlytics can detect and report these,but in my experience it does not.
If I deliberately cause a watchdog termination by for example sleeping on the main thread for a long time then these never appear in Crashlytics.
I know Apple folks here don't comment on non Apple software, so I'm not asking about Crashlytics, just wondering and interested about watchdog timeout terminations and how they differ from a "regular" crash.
I am on a windows computer using visual studio 2026 for developing .NET Maui apps for Android and iOS.
Am I able to connect my iPhone to my windows computer and deploy my .NET Maui app to my connected iPhone during deveoplemt?

I am a developer working on an iOS enterprise application. When I deployed the release version to my device, it crashes upon startup. It works fine in debug mode on my device.
The app is an upgraded version of Xamarin Form to .NET MAUI.
I have attached a crash report.
I would appreciate any help/insights on how to resolve.

Why as an IDE, many developers want to use the functions are not available, such as code formatting, if the function is not available, why not even a plug-in center, I have been using IDEA for code development, with Xcode development, feel very inconvenient to use
