Hi, I paid to renew my membership and I received an order confirmation email. But when i go to my account it says it is still expired - so what did i pay for then? I've emailed Apple developer support and they just sent me a generic bot/copy and paste email telling me i need to renew my account. Everyone i speak to tells me to click a link and it just leads to an email option, i email them, then i get an unhelpful email, then the cycle repeats.
It's like:
Me: "Hey Apple, i've just paid to renew my account and you're not giving me what i paid for".
Apple: "Just renew your account".
Me: "....yeah but that's the issue"
Apple: "click this link to send an email and start the infinite useless cycle all over again".
I have also called apple multiple times and spoke with three people and they are not able to help. I spoke with one of the people's managers and i explained to him that i've stuck in this infinite loop where nothing gets resolved and he sent me a link which just. lead. to. the. same. email. option!
I then explained that this is like a dystopian sci-fi movie where this faceless mega-corp (Apple) has taken my money for a service and not given me that service (false advertising / crime). He said he can't help. Then you know what he said? ................... ........ ..... .. "post on the forum".
So Apple takes my money and doesn't give me the service they advertised to me then says they can't help me and that i have to ask in the forum. I said "so basically you're advising me that non-apple employees are better suited to help me than Apple employees, lol".
What should i do here?? I have a had a team of developers stop working for weeks and this has brought my app development plan to a halt, costing me money.

Hi everyone,
I recently purchased the Apple Developer Program membership. The payment was successful, and Apple Support confirmed that I already have a membership (Case ID: 102656430038). However, my account still doesn’t show any developer privileges, and I’m unable to access the program features.
When I try to re-purchase, I get a message saying I already have a membership. Later, I received a message from Developer Support stating that my enrollment couldn’t be completed, with no clear explanation.
Has anyone else faced this issue?
What could be the reason, and how can I resolve it?
If I can’t use the program, I’d like to know how to get a refund or what steps to take for a successful enrollment next time.
Thanks,
Satvir Singh

Hello,
We’re using the Apple WeatherKit API in our application and would like to better understand how the conditionCode field is determined in the hourly data.
In particular, we have encountered cases where both rain and strong winds occurred within the same hour, but the conditionCode returned was related to wind (e.g. windy), even though rain was present and more relevant to our use case.
Could you please clarify:
What is the logic or prioritization used by WeatherKit when selecting the conditionCode for an hourly period that includes multiple weather events?
Is rain ever prioritized over wind in this field? If so, under what conditions?
Since precipitation has more impact for our analyses and decision-making than wind, understanding how this field is computed is important for us.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards,
I'm currently transferring an iOS app to a new Apple Developer account and following the process outlined in Apple’s documentation:
🔗 TN3159 - Migrating Sign in with Apple users for an app transfer
The process for generating transfer_identifiers and migrating existing users is clear, and I don’t expect issues with that part.
However, I have a question about preserving the user session after the transfer.
My setup:
The app uses Sign in with Apple via a backend-based authentication flow.
On login, the app retrieves the authorization_code and sends it to the backend.
The backend exchanges the code for tokens from Apple, including a refresh_token.
That refresh_token is then used on the backend to validate the user’s identity on subsequent requests.
My concern:
Once I initiate the app transfer, migrate users, and update the backend with new Apple credentials (client ID, team ID, etc.), I assume that the existing tokens issued under the old credentials will become invalid.
So my question is:
Is there a way to maintain the user’s authenticated session through this transition without requiring them to manually sign in again?
I’d like to ensure a seamless experience for users, if possible.

Hello Apple Developer Support / Community,
I’m reaching out for help regarding my Apple Developer Program enrollment.
It’s been 12 days since I submitted all the required documents (photo ID, business verification, and company registration documents. I also replied to the email as instructed.
Seven days ago, I received a response from a Senior Advisor saying the case was being reviewed and that I’d receive a reply soon—but nothing since then. The status still shows "Your enrollment is being processed."
This delay is now affecting my business operations and launch timelines.
I’ve done everything required—uploaded all documents, responded to support emails—but no progress or updates.
Has anyone experienced similar delays? Is there any way to escalate this?
Thank you in advance for any advice or assistance.
Best regards,
Gustave

Hi everyone,
I submitted the required documents to upgrade my Apple Developer account from Individual to Company via the D-U-N-S and identity verification forms.
It's been a long time, but I haven’t received any response or update from Apple yet. The status is still “waiting for review.”
We are ready to test and upload our apps, but we’re blocked until the account is converted.
Has anyone else experienced this delay recently?
If you’ve been through this and have any advice, I’d really appreciate your help or insights.
Thanks in advance.

After I added the USB HID function to my Mac program, it failed to pass Apple's review. The reviewer replied that four non-public or deprecated APIs were used.
···
• _IOHIDEventGetFloatValue
• _IOHIDEventSystemClientCreate
• _IOHIDEventSystemClientSetMatching
• _IOHIDServiceClientCopyEvent
···
The program used the HidAPI library, the open source address is: https://github.com/libusb/hidapi
All interactions with HID are completed through the HidAPI library, but I checked the source code of the HidAPI library, and the above APIs were not used
At the same time, I used Xcode's Instruments tool to monitor the calls of the app during runtime, but no calls to the above APIs were found in System Trace, CPU Profiler, or Timer Profiler
However, Apple's review still replied that the above APIs were used, and the USB HID function is very important. Is there any way to check where the library or program uses the above non-public or deprecated APIs?

Unfortunately, for the past two months I've been trying to migrate to a company account.
The banking updates are stuck processing with this error message:
Apple Developer support tossed me around between 6 or 7 different representatives, each restarting the process of trying to figure out the problem, contacting the engineering team back and forth, and even remote controlling my screen to try and solve it, to no avail.
None of them know what is the issue. What do I do?

My membership got expired and I don't see the renew button anywhere on the website or the developer app.
In my case, I have changed the developer account email address 6 months ago and the new email was not mapped for renewal that's why the renew button was not showing (I guess).
I tried to reach to Apple support, the phone support wasn't available so I wrote couple of emails. After 48 hrs they have sent an email saying the new email address has been mapped but still I see no renew button. I added required funds and disabled the auto-renew option yet no hope.
it's been four days still no replay from Apple. I was constantly checking for the phone support. Today I saw phone support was available so I immediately requested the call and explained the support staff about my situation and he fixed within a minute.
so guys if you are facing similar issue and see no solution even after contacting multiple times via emails, wait for phone support and request a call. This is the fastest and efficient way to resolve this "renew" issue. add the required funds so that the subscription payment will be done instantly.
Have a good day y'll

Hello,
I created an Apple Developer account and paid the €79 membership fee. It has now been three weeks, and I still haven’t received any email confirming the activation or approval of my account.
Apple mentioned that I would receive a response within 48 hours, but I have only received two emails related to the payment invoice. There has been no update regarding the status or activation of my developer account.
Can someone help me understand what might be causing the delay, or how I can get in touch with the right support team to resolve this?
Thank you.

Hei everyone.
As the title says, I have submitted the enrollment for the developer program two times, by mistake.
I did it once, two days ago, I have received the order aknowledgement and that was it.
However, today I have logged in the dev account on the web, and I saw this :
To continue your enrollment, complete your purchase now
Your purchase may take up to 48 hours to process.
I was like, oh, finally. let me finish the enrollment. but in reality, I have applied again, and received the same order aknowledgment.
How bad in trouble I am, or how bad did I messed up? And more importantly, what happens now?
I mention that no money charge has been issued from my card on neither of the attempts.
Thank you,
Best regards,
Gabriel.

I'm currently coding an application using Azure Entra External ID (B2C) with User Flows and multiple identity providers configured.
So far, I’ve successfully linked Microsoft, Google, and Facebook. However, when configuring Apple as an identity provider, the User Flow fails with the following error:
"invalid_request invalid web redirect url"
Following the Microsoft Learn guide (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/external-id/customers/how-to-apple-federation-customers), I completed the following:
Create an Apple application
Sign in to the Apple Developer Portal with your account credentials.
From the menu, select Certificates, IDs, & Profiles, and then select (+).
In the Register a New Identifier section, select App IDs, and then select Continue.
For Select a type, select App, and then select Continue.
To Register your App ID:
Enter a Description.
Enter the Bundle ID, such as com.contoso.azure-ad. Explicit naming such as com.myappdomain.myappname recommended.
For Capabilities, select Sign in with Apple from the capabilities list.
Take note of your Team ID (App ID Prefix) from this step. You'll need it later.
Select Continue and then Register.
From the menu, select Certificates, IDs, & Profiles, and then select (+).
In the Register a new identifier section, select Services IDs, and then select Continue.
In Register a Services ID:
Enter a Description. The description is shown to the user on the consent screen.
Enter the Identifier, such as com.contoso.entra-service. Explicit naming such as com.myappdomain.myappname.service is recommended. Take note of your Service ID identifier. The identifier is your Client ID.
Select Continue, and then select Register.
From Identifiers, select the Service ID identifier you created.
Select Sign In with Apple, and then select Configure.
Select the Primary App ID you want to configure Sign in with Apple with.
In Domains and Subdomains, enter the following by replacing
with your tenant ID or your primary domain name, and
with your tenant name. All characters should be in lower-case. As an example:
.ciamlogin.com
.ciamlogin.com
In Return URLs, enter the following by replacing with your tenant ID or your primary domain name, and with your tenant name. All characters should be in lower-case.
As an example:
https://.ciamlogin.com//federation/oauth2
https://.ciamlogin.com//federation/oauth2
https://.ciamlogin.com//federation/oauth2
Select Next, and then select Done.
When the pop-up window is closed, select Continue, and then select Save.
Create an Apple client secret
From the Apple Developer portal menu, select Keys, and then select (+).
To Register a New Key:
Type a Key Name.
Select Sign in with Apple, and then select Configure.
For the Primary App ID, select the app you created previously, and then select Save.
Select Continue, and then select Register to finish the key registration process.
Take note of the Key ID. This key is required when you configure the identity provider.
To Download Your Key, select Download to download the .p8 file that contains your key.
Select Done.
Configure Apple federation in Microsoft Entra External ID
After you create the Apple app, in this step you set the Apple app details in Microsoft Entra External ID. You can use the Microsoft Entra admin center to do so. To configure Apple federation in the Microsoft Entra admin center, follow these steps:
Sign in to the Microsoft Entra admin center.
Browse to Entra ID > External Identities > All identity providers.
Under the Built-in tab, select Apple.
The Name Apple is autopopulated. It cannot be changed.
Enter the following details:
Client (Apple service) ID: The client ID of the Apple application you created in the previous step.
Apple developer team ID: The Apple developer team ID related to the Apple application you created in the previous step.
Key ID: The key ID of the Apple application you created in the previous step.
Client secret (.p8) key: The client secret key of the Apple application you created in the previous step.
Select Save. You’ll see Apple listed as a configured identity provider.
Add Apple identity provider to a user flow
At this point, the Apple identity provider has been set up in your Microsoft Entra External ID, but it's not yet available in any of the sign-in pages. To add the Apple identity provider to a user flow:
In your customer tenant, browse to Entra ID > External Identities > User flows.
Select the user flow where you want to add the Apple identity provider.
Under Settings, select Identity providers.
Under Other Identity Providers, select Apple.
Select Save.
❌ The Issue
After completing all steps, Apple still fails during sign-in, while the other providers work correctly.
The error message I receive is:
"invalid_request invalid web redirect url"
Request for Help
I'm unsure where the misconfiguration may lie — whether it's with:
The Return URLs entered in the Apple Developer portal,
The Client ID or other fields in the Entra portal,
Or something else I’ve overlooked.
If anyone has successfully configured Apple ID federation with Azure Entra External ID (B2C) and encountered this error, I'd really appreciate any insights or suggestions.
Thank you!
