Developer account stuck in limbo (Case ID: 102451753655)
Hi everyone, I’m seeking advice or guidance regarding a frustrating issue with my Apple Developer Account that’s been unresolved since October this year. Here’s the situation: My account was fully functional from October 2023 until October 13, 2024. During that time, my enrollment as a US LLC was accepted, I paid the membership fee with auto-renew enabled, and everything was in order. On October 13, 2024, I encountered a problem where my account is now stuck in what seems like a “limbo.” When I log in to developer.apple.com, I see an option to “Enroll today,” but clicking it shows the error: “Sorry, you can’t enroll at this time. Your Apple ID is already associated with the Account Holder of a membership.” I’ve contacted Apple Support multiple times over the past month and a half. Each time, I’ve been told my case (ID: 102451753655) has been escalated to an internal review team, but I’ve received no updates, timelines, or resolutions. This issue is severely impacting my business, as my app is ready for release but cannot be published. I’m looking for advice: • Has anyone experienced something similar? • Are there alternative ways to escalate this issue beyond the usual support channels? At this point, I’m considering taking this issue to public platforms like Twitter/X and LinkedIn to get Apple’s attention. If the problem persists, I’ll likely need to involve legal representation. Developer Enrollment Delayed for Over a Month – Apple Support is a Nightmare!
I cannot believe how slow, opaque, and frustrating the Apple Developer enrollment process has become. I have been waiting for over a month, and every single step has been a nightmare. I have paid twice, the latest over a week ago, and still no activation. I have sent over 10 emails to support, and either I get no response or the same useless generic reply that does nothing to resolve the issue. I post here on the forum, and Apple remains completely silent. How can a company like Apple treat its developer partners this way? Google and Meta finalize these processes in 48 hours, while here, every step feels like a black hole of delays and excuses. This situation is beyond unacceptable. If Apple wants serious developers on its platform, it needs to fix this broken system. Has anyone else been stuck in this endless loop? I'm encountering an issue while trying to enroll in the Apple Developer Program using the mobile app. Every time I attempt to proceed, I receive the following error message: "There may be an issue with your account that needs to be resolved before you can continue." I have verified my account information and followed all the necessary steps. I sent an email to Apple, but I haven’t received a response for several days. I’d be grateful for any help if anyone else has experienced this issue.

Email from app_notification@apple.com - Phishing?
Hi, a few weeks ago I received this email: "Notification of Apple Developer Program License Agreement (PLA) violation" by app_notification @apple.com. Content was: "We are writing to inform you that your company is not in compliance with the Apple Developer Program License Agreement (PLA). Section 11.2 (Termination) states: (g) if You engage, or encourage others to engage, in any misleading, fraudulent, improper, unlawful or dishonest act relating to this Agreement, including, but not limited to, misrepresenting the nature of Your Application (e.g., hiding or trying to hide functionality from Apple’s review, falsifying consumer reviews for Your Application, engaging in payment fraud, etc.). Be aware that manipulating App Store chart rankings, user reviews or search index may result in the loss of your developer program membership. Please address this issue promptly." and indeed, there was a problem with an app, which I then fixed. But then it started to become a little bit weird, which makes me think it could be a phishing attempt. I asked them for more information, which app they are talking about, etc., but I only received this reply: "Hello, We would like to speak with you about your apps on the App Store.  Please provide a number where you can be reached and we will contact you at our next opportunity.  Sincerely,  Apple" I replied to them I am currently on holiday and would like to clarify this via email and that I fixed the problems (they didn't tell me which app or what exactly was wrong, but I checked it by myself) What was their reply? Exactly the same as above: "Hello, We would like to speak with you about your apps on the App Store.  Please provide a number where you can be reached and we will contact you at our next opportunity.  Sincerely,  Apple" So, I replied again and asked them if they could just tell me what is wrong and if this problem still exists, etc. Their reply: "Hello, We would like to speak with you about your apps on the App Store.  Please provide a number where you can be reached and we will contact you at our next opportunity.  Sincerely,  Apple" They basically sent me the exact same email 3x in a row without answering any of my questions or telling me any details. At this point, I am really not sure anymore if this legit or not. I opened a support ticket with Apple and ask them if it's legit, but no reply so far. Did someone made any similar experience on here?

However, this enrollment barrier is preventing me from doing so. Apple's support infrastructure for India needs improvement, and this issue needs attention. Still Waiting for My Membership Purchase to Be Processed
It's been over a week since I submitted my membership purchase for a developer account. I had to resubmit it today because I believe there might be an issue with the system. I received the acknowledgment email again. Could someone please check my order? I'm looking forward to contributing to the macOS app ecosystem. I don't even know where I can also check these purchase requests so I can provide you with the IDs I think you can use my apple id tho .

Can I access Enterprise APIs for visionOS (main camera) with an individual developer account?
Hello, my name is Kanazawa Kenta, and I am a university student currently conducting research and development using visionOS. In my project, I would like to access the main camera using the Enterprise APIs for visionOS. However, when I try to request permission or view the documentation, I receive the following message: "Your account can’t access this page. There may be certain requirements to view this content. You must be the Account Holder of an Apple Developer Program for Organizations or an Apple Developer Enterprise Program to view this page." I am currently enrolled in the Apple Developer Program as an Individual. My question is: Is it possible to use the Enterprise APIs with an individual developer account? If not, what are the available options for students or researchers who wish to use these APIs for academic purposes? I would greatly appreciate any guidance or suggestions on how I can gain access, or alternative ways to use the main camera for research in visionOS. Thank you for your help. Default Mail App Ad hoc Provisioning Profile Support
Our developer account was granted the com.apple.developer.mail-client by Apple ages ago, which we use for one of our apps. At the time, this entitlement was granted through a special "entitlements" drop-down on the profile creation page. In fact, the entitlement is still available to us in this manner: Unfortunately, applying the entitlement directly to the profile no longer works through the App Store Connect API. Which is a bummer because we periodically use the API to update our development and ad hoc profiles with new UDIDs. I was eventually able to get Apple to migrate the entitlement to a capability that we can instead apply to the app IDs in our account. Great! However, for some reason the "Default Mail App" capability (on the "Edit your App ID Configuration" screen) shows does NOT apply to Ad hoc profiles: Note that "Ad hoc" is missing. This means we still need to update the Ad hoc profile for the app in question manually through the Apple developer portal. This has to be a bug. It makes no sense that this specific capability doesn't apply to Ad hoc profiles. Other capabilities don't have this issue. e.g.: Another strange thing is that on the profile page for the ad hoc profile under "Enabled Capabilities" it shows "Default Mail App" (see screenshot above) but the capability/entitlement is missing from the downloaded profile unless I add it via the drop down menu on the profile page. How do I get Apple to fix this? Multiple support tickets submitted via our developer account have gone unanswered. (It took months just to get the entitlement partially migrated in the first place.)

In App Purchase
I’m facing an issue with In-App Purchases. I’ve completed the setup successfully. I logged in with User A's Apple account on an iPhone and completed a purchase. After that, I logged in with User B's account on the same iPhone. When I try to make the same purchase, I get the following error: “Purchase is a duplicate and will not be reported.” Because the purchase was already made using User A’s Apple ID, I’m unable to make the same purchase again using User B’s account on the same device. Could you please guide me on how to handle this situation?

Enrollment: Documentation needed
I tried already twice to enroll to the developer program and I'm stuck again at the same point after receiving an email from Apple program stating: "Please note that we still need the documentation we requested two weeks ago in an email titled “Request for Enrollment Documents”." Except I've never received such an email and I don't know which documents I should upload. I tried to contact by mail or phone the assistance but I never managed to succeed in having a response. I can't cancel test subscription
When I try to cancel it I get "Your request is temporarily unable to be processed. Please try again". I have since created a new test user from "Users and access", set the renewal for subscriptions to be at 5min. Added the new test user on my iPad where I am developing locally as a sandbox account, and then purchased the same subscription. And same problem happened - I can't cancel it from Apple ID -> Subscriptions. Getting the very same error. Also the subscription there seems to renew on a daily base and not on every 5 minute as I have set it. If I try "Clear purchase history" from the "Users and Access" from AppStore connect - nothing happens, I still see the subscription and I can't purchase it again. Please advise how to proceed in this situation. This happens on iOS 15.5 if it does matter and I am using StoreKit2. Regards, Al

Nonprofit Enrollment 28 Days in "Processing" After Continuing - UH4UT85YS3
I'm looking for advice or anyone who's experienced similar delays with nonprofit developer account enrollments. Timeline: In mid-September, we had some initial email validation issues during our nonprofit organization enrollment. Senior Advisor Kevin (case 102691832489) resolved those issues and cleared us to continue enrollment on September 16-17. We continued immediately on September 17th, and our status changed to "Your enrollment is being processed" with enrollment ID UH4UT85YS3. It's now been 28 days with no status changes, no requests for additional information, and no timeline. Follow-up attempts: I've called support three times (Sept 19, 26, and Oct 7). Each time I was told the application is "with a separate department they can't contact." They created additional cases but couldn't provide any updates or access to the reviewing team. Questions for the community: Is 28 days normal for nonprofit enrollment processing after continuing? Has anyone found a way to get status updates when regular support can't access the reviewing team? Is there a specific escalation path for nonprofit accounts that differs from standard enrollments? We're a 501(c)(3) church launching an app for a capital campaign, so the delay is starting to impact our timeline. Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Enrollment Stuck for Over 2 Weeks – No Response
We applied for the Apple Developer Program more than two weeks ago, and our application is completely stuck with no updates or clear next steps. Despite providing all required documents (Company registration, D-U-N-S number, ID verification, etc. and several times !), we are still waiting for approval, while there is nothing complicated (EU citizens, UK company) We've reached out multiple times to Apple Support but have received no concrete answers or timeline for when our application will be reviewed. Meanwhile, we have successfully completed similar processes with Google, Meta, and financial institutions like banks or PSP, all within 48h ! How can a company like Apple treat its partners this way? The lack of transparency in the approval process is frustrating and severely impacts our timeline. This kind of experience does not inspire trust or confidence in doing business with Apple... 🔹 Has anyone else experienced such long delays in the enrollment process? 🔹 Is there any way to escalate this to get an actual response? Apple renewal issue
Dear Apple, I had successfully renew my membership with bellow email "Your Apple Developer Program membership has been renewed for another year and your membership details are below. We look forward to the innovative new apps you'll bring to Apple platforms." A few days later, I got another email After several attempts, we're unable to collect payment using the payment method you provided to renew your Apple Developer Program membership. Your access to the Apple Developer Program has been disabled. At https://developer.apple.com/account, It displays a button with "Enroll today" instead of "Renew membership". Clicking it show below error "Your Apple Account is already associated with the Account Holder of a membership." I've tried getting support from https://developer.apple.com/contact/topic/SC1101/subtopic/30007/solution/select, but no reply after a few days. All my apps are not able to receive notifications and I'm afraid it will be removed from PlayStore soon. Anyone experienced such issue and anyway to get it resolved quick?
