Hi everyone,
since updating to Xcode 26 Beta 3, I’m seeing some really strange behavior. I just changed the color of a Color asset in my SwiftUI view – literally just switched from one named color to another – and suddenly:
• Previews stopped working completely, with vague or no error messages.
• Even when I changed the color back to what it was before, the previews still refused to build.
• In addition, Xcode no longer restores the open tabs/windows when reopening the project. It just shows a blank editor every time I open it.
This all happened without touching any project settings or code structure – just a simple color swap.
Has anyone else run into this with Xcode 26 Beta 3?
Would love to know if it’s a known bug or if there’s a workaround (besides nuking Derived Data, which I’ve already tried).
Thanks!

I have a subscription group with two individual subscriptions configured but when trying to load the SubscriptionStoreView I get the error:
"Subscription Unavailable: The subscription is unavailable in the current storefront."
When I try to load the ProductView, it appears to be stuck in a loading screen. I am running the app on a device that is signed into a sandbox account. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Hi everyone,
I’m currently testing iOS 26 on my iPhone as part of the developer program. According to Apple’s documentation and demo materials, a new screenshot animation was introduced in this version. However, when I take a screenshot on my device, the animation remains the same as in previous iOS versions.
I’ve double-checked that I’m running the correct build of iOS 26, and I haven’t found any settings that might enable or disable this feature.
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Could this new animation be device-specific, region-limited, or require additional configuration?
Any insight would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Alonso Rivera

App design: macos, Xcode 16.4, Sequioa 15.5, it is sandboxed
Uses: Pods->HotKey for a global hotkey which xcode says "binary compatibility can't be guaranteed"
This app is on the Apple Store and supposedly apps on the Apple Store can't use global hotkeys. Someone internally, installed it from the store and the global hotkey works just fine.
I'm concerned for two potential problems;
I need to find a hotkey library or code that is known to work with a sandbox'd Apple Store app.
Why is it working now when everything I have read says it shouldn't.
Is there anyway I can customize Carplay template look like this
I am trying to resize a Window Form after it loads and have done quite a bit of searching for code to do it.
Here is one code snippet that works to size the form during the design phase.
self.view.window?.contentMinSize = CGSize(width: 1100, height: 310)
I have tried code like below to increase the window size after the Form loads
if let myWindow = self.view.window ?? NSApplication.shared.mainWindow
{
// Increase window size and position after it loads
let newRect = NSRect(x: 100, y: 100, width: 1400, height: 900)
}
It seems that this code not only changes the Form size after loading, but also changes the size of the Form in Main.swift, which is something I don't want.
I read elsewhere that I had to disable constraints to resize the Form, so I tried code below.
let tableView = NSTableView()
tableView.translatesAutoresizingMaskIntoConstraints = false
let newRect = NSRect(x: 100, y: 0, width: 1100, height: 600)
myWindow?.setFrame(newRect, display: true)
That code did not seem to do anything as well.
Also, the Form displays in the lower left of the screen.
Note that main reason I want to resize the Form after loading is to keep it smaller during design development. The same goes for the NSTableView, which I have not gotten to yet.
Hi there. I want to use Adobe XD for designing and prototyping apps, and I would like to get the UIKit design resources working. I downloaded it and tried to open it with Adobe XD, but it threw this error:
There was an error opening the file Apple iOS 26 UI Kit.sketch
(Error code: 115)
I really prefer to use the UIKit in Adobe XD rather than paying for Figma or Sketch. Thanks.

I have the following code that renders a one-page PDF:
func render() -> URL {
let renderer = ImageRenderer(content: pdfView())
let url = URL.documentsDirectory.appending(path: "filename.pdf")
renderer.render { size, context in
var document = CGRect(x: 0, y: 0, width: 2550, height: 3300)
guard let pdf = CGContext(url as CFURL, mediaBox: &document, nil) else {
return
}
pdf.beginPDFPage(nil)
context(pdf)
pdf.endPDFPage()
pdf.closePDF()
}
return url
}
func pdfView() -> some View {
Text("View")
}
How can this be modified so that it renders a PDF with more than one page?
Hello All,
I used to own an app named LOLIIPOP, and am in the process of transferring it to my new apple account.
I am having two problems....
How do I transfer the source code and binary to my new apple account?
My developers have an old code, so I need to send them the LAST code they uploaded to the App Store.
How do I do that as well???
Please any help!!!
Thanks,
Mr. LM
The problem is the same in all of my applications. To reproduce it, in iOS 26, set the dark mode in the Brightness and display settings and in Accessibility, Display and text size, activate Increase contrast and bold text. With these settings, all the controls will be surrounded by a thin white line. When in the app a keyboard is dispayed, the thin white line does not appears correctly around the keyboard like in the capture joined, it is present on top and partially on bottom but not on sides
Hi,
I want to generate some sample datas for demonstrating the functions of my app when the app launched. My codes are as followings:
func generateSampleData() {
let hasLaunchedKey = "HasLaunchedBefore"
let defaults = UserDefaults.standard
if !defaults.bool(forKey: hasLaunchedKey) {
//generate the demo data
}
defaults.set(true, forKey: hasLaunchedKey)
}
And I put the func in a view's onAppear modifier. I found every time I go the view, it generates the demo data again, which results in producing a lot of demo data. But I have set the status of the function running in the userdefault. Why did it happen?
Best Wishes,
I’m working on a SwiftUI sheet that has a specific size 624 x 746, but I’m running into issues on certain devices like the iPad mini in landscape or when using Stage Manager. The sheet sometimes gets cut off, and the content inside isn’t fully visible.
Current Implementation:
The sheet is 624 x 746, but if there's less width or height around the sheet, I want it to scale dynamically while maintaining the aspect ratio (to ensure the content can always be shown)
Ideally, I’d love for the sheet to increase in size on larger screens to cover more of the page behind it.
The sheet contains a NavigationStack with multiple pages.
Problems I’m Facing:
iPad mini (landscape): The bottom content (like buttons) gets cut off when the sheet height is constrained.
Stage Manager: If the user resizes the window, the sheet doesn’t adjust properly, leading to UI clipping.
Ideal behavior: I want the sheet to dynamically scale its width and height while maintaining the aspect ratio.
Questions
How can I prevent content from being cut off when using the sheet in iPad mini landscape?
Is there a better approach to handle Stage Manager resizing dynamically?
Any insights or alternative approaches would be greatly appreciated! 🚀
Also, I’m a designer, and I’m doing this to help our development team—so please bear with my code 😅
Thanks in advance! 😊
Scenario is when keyboard is opened within the app being developed then switch to other app, for instance, Notes app and create a note to enable keyboard from there. While the Notes app keyboard is active switch back to the developed app the keyboard in it is dismissed. Any thoughts?Thanks
Hello,
I recently submitted my app to the Apple Store and received a rejection under Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam, stating that my app is similar to others on the store. However, my app has a unique feature set, offers more functionality and content than competitors, and is completely free with ad monetization, unlike most similar apps that require subscriptions.
I have spent five months developing this app from scratch, ensuring it provides an original and valuable experience for users. I did not use an app template or repackaged code, and my app is not a reskinned version of any existing app. I genuinely believe it brings meaningful differentiation to the market.
I would appreciate any guidance on how I can better communicate my app’s uniqueness to the review team or what specific aspects I should adjust to comply with Apple's guidelines.
Thank you for your time and support.
I have been battling the new Icon Composer app for 2 days trying to build an app icon. However, I cannot get it to import any files. I have used the Apple provided App Icon Template. I have exported my layers to .svg and when I open the finder, everything is disabled. I can't find help for this anywhere. I am on Sequoia on my Mac and not sure how to design this app icon without access to the composer.
While doing production release of app, I was not able to see phase release option like in my previous releases. Due To whihc when I released. the app , it got released to 100% users. I want to know why phase release option was not showing up in my dashboard
Hi Apple developer community. I have a question a lot of users don’t like the new control center and notification center. Are you guys gonna blur the background or are you guys gonna keep it the same?
