Apple Air Pods Upgrade!
Good evening. I have come up with this amazing and revolutionary idea that is going to change the ent world for the better. I’m a 23 year old Design Engineer from Greece and I would like to come to direct contact with the Apple Design Team, in order to discuss this project and the best case scenario, sell it to you. The foldable iPhone is not a good idea. Its not revolutionary and it’s going to leave a big black mark in Apple history. With my idea, the whole world will see again the greatness of the biggest company in history.

Feedback on the new Camera app icon in iOS 26
I’m currently using the iOS 26 Developer Beta and noticed the new icon design for the Camera app. Personally, I preferred the previous icon it looked cleaner, more elegant, and felt more in line with Apple’s signature iOS design language. The new icon feels more like something you’d expect from Android. It lacks the minimalist, refined style that usually defines iOS icons. I understand UI evolves over time, but this change feels like a step away from what makes Apple’s design philosophy unique. Just wanted to share this honest feedback as a long-time user and developer. Thanks for considering!

New IOS APP Help
Hello, I am looking to develop a relationship with a developer that has experience running through the IOS build approval process. To elaborate, my team and I have designed and built a software application which is working through the Apple Developer review process to have the app approved and released to the App Store. Unfortunately, there has been some challenges, simple challenges in my eyes with our interface preventing Apple from approving our application. Happy to elaborate further. A primary problem and solution I have seen is the software build was testing solely on the iPhone but as recently directed it seem the application must be accessible on iPad as well. With this the case, I have experience some software platforms where on the ipad the interface is not displayed on the whole screen. I am looking for direction on how to implement this setup for the 1st IOS build. Another concern from Apples Developer Review team is the App Tracking Transparency kit may need to be implemented.

Modal Shadows - In App Purchases (macOS)
Hey, everyone. I'm having an issue with my modal shadows when building for macOS. I've attached an image to show you what's going on. I have a rounded corner window, and when the In-App Purchase overlay opens, the modal shadow of that rounded window is square (which doesn't make sense, and looks bad). Can somebody please help me address this? I've tried searching high and low for a solution but I can't find anything :-( I really appreciate you taking a look! -Logan

Future iPhone Innovations – Portless & Foldable iPhones
Dear Apple Innovation Team, I have a game-changing iPhone concept and want Apple to explore it first. 📱 iPhone 18 – The First True Portless iPhone No ports – MagSafe 2.0 with high-speed data transfer. Under-display Face ID & Camera – No security compromise. Seamless OLED Display – No interruptions, just pure screen. 📂 iPhone 20 – The Perfect Foldable Crease-free foldable design – Apple perfects what others failed to. Optimized iOS for foldables – Smooth UI & app integration. Apple leads the foldable market. 🚀 Why This Matters: Apple can set a new standard & dominate both innovations. Looking forward to your response. Best, Saksham Sethi

iOS 26 not showing new screenshot animation
Hi everyone, I’m currently testing iOS 26 on my iPhone as part of the developer program. According to Apple’s documentation and demo materials, a new screenshot animation was introduced in this version. However, when I take a screenshot on my device, the animation remains the same as in previous iOS versions. I’ve double-checked that I’m running the correct build of iOS 26, and I haven’t found any settings that might enable or disable this feature. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Could this new animation be device-specific, region-limited, or require additional configuration? Any insight would be appreciated! Thanks in advance, Alonso Rivera

Issue displaying Button Text after a MeshGradient applied
I am creating a Generate note app but I don't see the text in the button when I applied the MeshGradient. I removed the Mesh Gradient and text is there. Need some help to find the issue. I am new to app Development and I am learning how to use it. Below is the code: import SwiftUI struct ContentView: View { @State private var inputText: String = "" @State private var isLoading: Bool = false var body: some View { ZStack { Color(.systemGray6).edgesIgnoringSafeArea(.all) VStack (spacing: 20) { Text("Generate Notes") .font(.title) .fontWeight(.bold) .frame(maxWidth: .infinity, alignment: .leading) Text("Transform your thoughts into well-structured notes using artificial intelligence.") .font(.subheadline) .foregroundStyle(.secondary) .frame(maxWidth: .infinity, alignment: .leading) TextEditor(text: $inputText) .frame(height: 200) .padding() .background(RoundedRectangle(cornerRadius: 16) .fill(Color(.systemGray6))) Button(action: {}) { HStack { if isLoading { ProgressView() .tint(.white) } else { Image(systemName: "sparkles") } Text(isLoading ? "Generating..." : "Generate Notes") } .padding() .frame(maxWidth: .infinity) .background( MeshGradient(width: 3, height: 3, points: [ .init(0, 0), .init(0.5, 0), .init(1, 0), .init(0, 0.5), .init(0.5, 0.5), .init(1, 0.5), .init(0, 1), .init(0.5, 1), .init(1, 1) ], colors: [ .blue, .purple, .indigo, .orange, .white, .blue, .yellow, .green, .mint ]) ) .mask( RoundedRectangle(cornerRadius: 16) .stroke(lineWidth: 16) .blur(radius: 8) ) .overlay( RoundedRectangle(cornerRadius: 16) .stroke(.white, lineWidth: 1) .blur(radius: 1) .blendMode(.overlay) ) .background(.black) .foregroundColor(.white) .cornerRadius(16) .background( RoundedRectangle(cornerRadius: 16) .stroke(.black.opacity(0.5), lineWidth: 1) ) .shadow(color: .black.opacity(0.15), radius: 20, x: 0, y: 20) .shadow(color: .black.opacity(0.1), radius: 15, x: 0, y: 15) } .disabled(isLoading || inputText.isEmpty) Spacer() } .padding(32) .background(Color(.systemBackground)) .cornerRadius(44) .shadow(color: .black.opacity(0.1), radius: 20, x:0, y:10) } } } #Preview { ContentView() }

HotKey support for sandboxed apps
App design: macos, Xcode 16.4, Sequioa 15.5, it is sandboxed Uses: Pods->HotKey for a global hotkey which xcode says "binary compatibility can't be guaranteed" This app is on the Apple Store and supposedly apps on the Apple Store can't use global hotkeys. Someone internally, installed it from the store and the global hotkey works just fine. I'm concerned for two potential problems; I need to find a hotkey library or code that is known to work with a sandbox'd Apple Store app. Why is it working now when everything I have read says it shouldn't.

(tvOS) Categories or Selection Menus Don't Fit the Design
Hi everyone, I'm currently working on my own Apple TV app. So far, things are going pretty well, but right now, I'm stuck on the design of the categories or selection menus. Here's a screenshot of how it looks right now: The green color and the border are intentionally added for now so I can see what is where. My actual goal is to remove the gray bar (or is this the "main bar"?). The pink bar and its border are just design elements that can be removed if needed. I want it to look more "original," like this: Here is the code: let title: String let isSelected: Bool var body: some View { HStack { Text(title) .foregroundColor(isSelected ? .black : .white) .font(.system(size: 22, weight: .regular)) .padding(.leading, 20) Spacer() Image(systemName: "chevron.right") .foregroundColor(isSelected ? .black : .gray) .padding(.trailing, 20) } .frame(height: 50) // Einheitliche Höhe für die Kategorien .background(Color.pink) // Innerer Hintergrund auf pink gesetzt .cornerRadius(10) // Abrundung direkt auf den Hintergrund anwenden .overlay( RoundedRectangle(cornerRadius: 10) .stroke(Color.green, lineWidth: 3) // Äußerer Rahmen auf grün gesetzt ) .padding(.horizontal, 0) // Entferne äußere Ränder .background(Color.clear) // Entferne alle anderen Hintergründe } } struct SettingsView_Previews: PreviewProvider { static var previews: some View { SettingsView() } } I’ve adjusted the code, but it’s still not quite right. When a category is not selected, it appears black instead of gray, like in the original design Here is the code: struct SettingsView: View { @State private var selectedCategory: String? var body: some View { NavigationStack { ZStack { Color.black .edgesIgnoringSafeArea(.all) VStack(spacing: 0) { // Überschrift oben in der Mitte Text("Einstellungen") .font(.system(size: 40, weight: .semibold)) .foregroundColor(.white) .padding(.top, 30) HStack { // Linke Seite mit Logo VStack { Spacer() Image(systemName: "applelogo") .resizable() .scaledToFit() .frame(width: 120, height: 120) .foregroundColor(.white) Spacer() } .frame(width: UIScreen.main.bounds.width * 0.4) // Rechte Seite mit Kategorien VStack(spacing: 15) { ForEach(categories, id: \.self) { category in NavigationLink( value: category, label: { SettingsCategoryView( title: category, isSelected: selectedCategory == category ) } ) .buttonStyle(PlainButtonStyle()) } } .frame(width: UIScreen.main.bounds.width * 0.5) } } } .navigationDestination(for: String.self) { value in Text("\(value)-Ansicht") .font(.title) .foregroundColor(.white) .navigationTitle(value) } } } private var categories: [String] { ["Allgemein", "Benutzer:innen und Accounts", "Video und Audio", "Bildschirmschoner", "AirPlay und HomeKit", "Fernbedienungen und Geräte", "Apps", "Netzwerk", "System", "Entwickler"] } } struct SettingsCategoryView: View { let title: String let isSelected: Bool var body: some View { HStack { Text(title) .foregroundColor(.white) .font(.system(size: 22, weight: .medium)) .padding(.leading, 20) Spacer() Image(systemName: "chevron.right") .foregroundColor(.gray) .padding(.trailing, 20) } .frame(height: 50) // Einheitliche Höhe für die Kategorien .background(isSelected ? Color.gray.opacity(0.3) : Color.clear) // Hervorhebung des ausgewählten Elements .cornerRadius(8) // Abgerundete Ecken .scaleEffect(isSelected ? 1.05 : 1.0) // Fokus-Animation .animation(.easeInOut, value: isSelected) } } struct SettingsView_Previews: PreviewProvider { static var previews: some View { SettingsView() } }

.onAppear and .task code not running
Hi, I have the following code, which for some reason is not working as expected. I have an .onAppear and a .task function that isn't running, which I can see isn't running because nothing is printing. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. struct ContentView: View { var body: some View { ZStack { switch view { case .view1: View1() case .view2: View2() case .view3: View3() case .view4: View4() case .view5: View5() default: SubscriptionStoreView(groupID: "") } } .onAppear() { view = .view6 print("test 1") } .task { print("test") await refreshPurchasedProducts() } } func refreshPurchasedProducts() async { // Iterate through the user's purchased products. for await verificationResult in Transaction.currentEntitlements { switch verificationResult { case .verified(let transaction): print("verified") case .unverified(let unverifiedTransaction, let verificationError): print("unverified") default: print("default") } } } }

Display problem with keyboard in iOS 26
The problem is the same in all of my applications. To reproduce it, in iOS 26, set the dark mode in the Brightness and display settings and in Accessibility, Display and text size, activate Increase contrast and bold text. With these settings, all the controls will be surrounded by a thin white line. When in the app a keyboard is dispayed, the thin white line does not appears correctly around the keyboard like in the capture joined, it is present on top and partially on bottom but not on sides

iOS 26 beta 3 bug report
In the clock app when making an alarm for myself to wake up, I found this bug where If you swipe left On an alarm without deleting it and then Swipe right it does a goofy visual glitch where it teleports to the top of your screen.
