After connecting to a Passpoint network on macOS, the SSID field is displayed as empty. Bugs ? Passpoint connections are established and function correctly, with network communication unimpeded. However, a display issue where the SSID field is blank is present on macOS versions 13 through 15 inclusive. This issue persists even when utilizing connection profiles created with Apple Configurator. Help me. Thks

I just realized thaty I had signed up for this developer account some time ago without making any meaningful attempt to introduce myself other than attending a few of the Apple meetups at NeurIPS and ICML conferences. As a quick introduction I come from a background in open source development, most notably associated with the "Automunge" python library for dataframe encodings / missing data infill. I also have some background supporting Apple in context of volunteering as an executive officer for an IEEE Standards Association working group developing floating point arithmetic / data types for machine learning. Beyond that have been a dedicated user with frequent product feedback to various channels over the years. I am currently self employed and focussing on building an IP portfolio and investing. Hello, i just noticed that when i download an app through the App Store on my iPhone, the app i downloaded does not appear on my home screen or in the App Library. is there any work around for me to make them appear at least in the App Library? the only way to open or to place an app on my home screen I downloaded after upgrading to iOS 18.4 Beta 3 is to search for it in Spotlight or in the App Store. Any apps I downloaded before upgrading to iOS 18.4 Beta 3 is still on my home screen or in the App Library. i am currently running iOS 18.4 Beta 3 on an iPhone 16 Pro

I have encountered a problem that the Apple Watch cannot automatically continue playing the music in my playlist even if I have press the cycle button. It stops every song. And I used Apple Music. All these are performed without iPhone. But after restarted the watch, it works fine. I use S10 GPS watch with watch os 11.3.1. I never restarted the watch after I renewed the system. And i believe the problem have existed for more than one year as i saw a post describe the same problem on social media.

Hello all. I am currently developing a database app of particular products for people who collect this item. Let's say model airplanes. People can look at their list of model airplanes and also see a collection of airplanes by model companies. I want to offer a link from a product in my app to a local retailer's website who sells this product on their website. Not just their base site, but directly to the products page. Meaning each product in my database will have a unique link to an external product page. This could also include links to Ebay or Amazon if local retailer doesn't sell the product. Is this sort of feature allowed inside App Store Apps as technically it's not an in-app purchase? I do see some vague answers around but none that target this specific circumstance. Hi everyone, I am developing a VoIP calling feature in my Flutter app, using: Agora RTC Engine for real-time calls. CallKit & PushKit (VoIP notifications) for iOS call handling. Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for notifications. Problem: CallKit UI Stays on Screen When Caller Hangs Up (Background/Terminated) I am using Firebase notifications to notify the receiver that the call should be dismissed, but it doesn’t work in the following cases: App is in the background – CallKit UI remains stuck even after receiving the Firebase notification. App is terminated – The Firebase notification does not trigger any background execution, so CallKit UI stays forever. Current Implementation I send an FCM notification to inform the receiver to dismiss CallKit UI. When received in the foreground, it works fine (callEnded method is triggered). But in background or terminated state, the notification is not received or doesn’t execute the code.

Hello, I'm trying to publish my app, but I'm constantly getting rejected by Apple. They're telling me I'm having issues with tracking user data. This item has been rejected for the following reasons: 5.1.2 Legal: Privacy - Data Use and Sharing I've indicated that I don't use this data for ads, that it's only used for personalization and to understand who saves items. I added the NSUserTrackingUsageDescription property to the info.plist. I run AppTrackingTransparency.requestTrackingAuthorization() when the user logs into the app, displaying a warning message. I'd say I meet all the requirements they've set for me, but they still haven't approved my app. What do you recommend? How can I speak to a physical person who can help me? It works if Bluetooth is on for a long time, is there any problem? I'm developing an app using beacon and Bluetooth, and I have to operate the app in the background, and after spending the weekend, I have to detect the beacon and revive the app. I can see that there is an app in the background, but the app is not coming back to life. How can I solve this problem? Or is the OS team working on something to block it? The test model is Iphone16Plus.

Immediately post iOS 18.4 upgrade yesterday 2023 MacBook Pro 14″ battery level dropped to zero and indicates "Service Recommended". System report shows battery charge cycles at "0". Wondering if others have seen this occurance on other laptops?

We have observed an issue where upgrading an iPhone to iOS 18.4 causes installed apps to revert to significantly older versions. For example, if the App Store version is 1.0.284 and the user had 1.0.283 installed before the upgrade, after updating to iOS 18.4, the app version reverts to 1.0.208—which is nearly a year old. We suspect this may be related to iCloud backup restoration. Has Apple encountered similar cases, and is there a known resolution for this issue?

Now that Apple is allowing users to merge two Apple IDs, how does one remove/delete songs from the Primary Apple ID music library? Is it a no-no to merge two Apple IDs? The notes on merging suggest this is a problem but offer no workaround. The only option I can see is to hide songs. Is this sufficient to allow the merging of two Apple IDs?

Too many irrelevant posts come up when I attempt to search for something. There should be an easy button or something to earmark posts as something irrelevant- something that shouldn't come up in a search. I'm looking for something in Xcode 15 and frequently the top posts in the search are 10 years old and don't have any relevance whatsoever to the solution to my problem.
