On wake from sleep the Mac Studio's Desktop picture is shown in actual resolution instead of stretched to fit screen. For example, a picture which is 2059 × 1371 is shown at that resolution on a 5K Retina screen and so only fills about 60% of the screen area. It starts with the picture positioned in the top left corner but sometimes moves down the screen. This behaviour does not change if the screen is scaled up or down – the picture size is also scaled.
Notice that icons on the Desktop are displayed in the correct position.
At the same time, the Dock is shown at the bottom of the picture instead of at the bottom of the screen.
Usually, the Desktop redisplays correctly. But increasingly, the only solution is to log out and in again.
This might be related to my other question on the Desktop picture Pref Pane.
See attached example which is a full screen capture i.e. command-shift-3 (with my personal details obscured):

I want the wkwebview to revert to its previous state when I restart it.
Hello,
One of our apps has been rejected under Guideline 4.3 for spam.
Our studio has been on the App Store for 10+ years and this particular app has been available for over two years without previous issue.
We have submitted a couple responses to the original rejection outlining why we think our app is unique and not spam and unfortunately we have been rejected. I have also submitted an appeal and requested a phone call.
This is compounded by a live issue happening in our app right now that requires a build to unblock. I added that to our review notes for submission but was rejected.
We believe we have been flagged as spam in error and would like to release builds to our active players ASAP to get them unblocked and provide further value to them.
Beyond submitting an appeal and requesting a call is there anything else I can do?
help me how to fix this issue !!
I have a Logitech Yeti GX microphone, which is working, but i am unable to fully use all its features because of a driver issue. Logitech states the following to resolve "The program Logitech G Hub Driver installer tried to load a new driver extension. To enable this extension, open Systems Settings>General>Login Items & Extensions>Logitech G Hub HID Driver Extension> Toggle on.... that appears to be simple enough... only problem is that Driver Extension doesnt exist as an option for me. Any thoughts as to why not? Thanks for your help.
Please provide me with an access code to TestFlight

Apple has a massive opportunity to improve iOS for business users with ARM (Apple Relationship Manager)—a built-in tool that allows professionals to log, summarize, and integrate calls & messages into CRM workflows.
Many professionals (salespeople, executives, entrepreneurs) use iPhones for business, but there’s no easy way to track conversations, categorize interactions, or integrate messages with a CRM.
ARM would solve this by allowing:
✅ AI-powered call summaries (users get a suggested summary after each call, which can be reviewed and tagged).
✅ iMessage/SMS tagging (users can hold down messages to assign a sentiment or create a follow-up).
✅ CRM Integration (ARM logs could sync with HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
How ARM Would Work:
• Users could tap an “ARM Accept” (green accept button with the ARM logo instead of white phone symbol) button before a call to activate AI-powered summarization.
• After the call, users would review/edit the summary and log a sentiment (e.g., “Needs Follow-Up”).
• In iMessage, users could long-press messages to summarize conversations and tag key interactions for both blue and green messages.
• ARM would keep everything on-device, ensuring privacy and security.
Since Apple Intelligence is already introducing AI-powered features, ARM could make iPhones the ultimate business communication tool while keeping everything private and secure.

Background:
We are using Apple WeatherKit for an app to fetch future weather data specialty cloudCover and condition and pretipitationChance from the Overnightforecast data from weatherResponse.dailyForecast.forecast array object.
Code Sample:
On xcode on Swift and Swift UI using Apple WeatherKit
task{
do{
let weatherResponse= try await self.weatherService.forecast(for: latLong)
let cloudCover = weatherResponse.dailyForecast.forecast[0].overnightforecast.cloudCover
Issue:
While we are on debug mode, we can literally see overnightforecast.cloudCover data (as well as condition and pretipitationChance) is available under from index 0 to index 10 of weatherResponse.dailyForecast.forecast array object but when we are trying to assign this property, its throwing error as
"overnightforecast object not present under weatherResponse.dailyForecast.forecast array object"

Hi - I've been using logic for a few years now. Three days ago I whilst opening it, a pop up said MIDICORE was not working and I haven't been able to fix it since.
I read online that booting up in safe mode + opening audio MIDI set up would fix it, thing is audio MIDI set up wont load up.
Anyone knows how I can fix it? I am on the verge of tears as I cannot seam to find any information online about audio MIDI set up not opening. And I cannot seam to fix the MIDI issue without it.
Thanks!
As explained above only ended up being about to use voice and text

For the subscription API, we’re using the Get All Subscription Statuses API to replace the deprecated verifyReceipt method. To determine if a user has canceled their subscription, we’re using the expirationIntent key from JWSRenewalInfo data. However, we’ve noticed that we sometimes receive this key and other times not.
We’re also facing an issue with the offertype key. We use this key to determine if a user is currently in the introductory offer, the promotion offer, or neither. To obtain this key, we’re using JWSTransaction, but we occasionally receive it and other times not.
Note: These issues are being tested in the sandbox environment.
Thank you.
I've just watched "Meet Object Capture for iOS wwdc23" and have installed and run the app.
After taking > 120 images of my model I clicked the "Finish" button and the app is now showing a spinning pinwheel. It has been running for about 22 hours.
Is it going to finish or should I kill it?
TIA!

My experiments have managed to damage my installed system and I am getting alerts that it needs to be re-installed. But when I try to get Recovery to re-install the same system, it refuses. It says my installed system is newer than what it could install.
In general, what is the minimum I would need to change or remove from my current system to convince Recovery to re-install?
For example:
Could I just delete a certain small group of System files?
Could I Erase only the Macintosh HD Volume in the container, leaving the Macintosh HD - data Volume intact?
I really would rather not ERASE everything and restore it all from backups, just to satisfy Recovery that it will not be writing older over newer. It won't be, but since I have available applied updates, the version available for Restore is currently older than the damaged version on the drive.

Another developer tried to start a screen-sharing session with me on my M1 MacBook Air this morning (Sequoia 15.3). He reported however that another session was already under way on my machine. I looked in System Settings and found that the "Screen Sharing" setting was grayed out, with the notation that "This service is currently being controlled by the Remote Management service". Access to the service is disabled however, and I have no way of turning it off.
It's possible that the person who tried to help me got this session started, and that it then got aborted in some irregular way, but he see no indication of that and says there is no connection between us as seen from his end. This makes me nervous security-wise. Is there some way I can turn this off and ensure that I am not being screen-shared against my will, as it were?
TIA,
Howard

Has anyone had the issue where you try to sign in and you have to repetitively put you log in in to finally take? When it does take you set up your syncing options but your photo's, Files and everything never sync.
I've updated all my system files on my computer. I even did a clean install of my windows operating system and installed it and it's doing the same thing.
Any suggestions?
I hope questions about third party APIs are allowed. If not I guess a delete is in order. That said....
I am looking to do an app for dog owners, trainers and enterprises such as shelters & boarding, and a couple of features require access to one or more cameras in real time. So I have been looking for hardware that provides an API and coming up empty. So far as I can tell none of the major pet cam companies, like Furbo, Petcube or Eufy. Even security cameras like the TP-Link Tapo doesn't seem to.
Am I just failing epically in my search formulation, or are all these companies playing the printer game and selling the camera cheap and making all their money in the monthly subscription to actually be able to use the hardware, and keeping that to themselves?
And, can anyone recommend decent to good third party hardware that does provide a Swift API? Or am I better off just targeting the use of iPhone & iPad and Mac cameras? It's not ideal, but it's better than nothing.
