Our organization is deploying passwordless authentication. Instead of using a password, employees must use the Microsoft Authenticator app to complete the login process.
Unfortunately, employees with passwordless authentication can't complete the login on the Wi-Fi Captive portal with SAML authentication. The reason is that when an employee switches to the Microsoft Authenticator app, the Apple CNA (Apple Network Captive Assistant) disappears. As a result, the authentication process breaks.
According to the https://developer.apple.com/news/?id=q78sq5rv source, iOS 14+ devices support the RFC-8908 standard. Unfortunately, we couldn't find a reliable source on how this feature works on iOS devices.

Hello,
I am running into a bit of an issue with the Screen Timeout/Screen Lock setting and would like some clarification on.
First for a bit of context, I am enrolling personal iOS devices 18.0+ into the company MDM (Intune) with Account Driven User Enrollment. We are trying to set a screen timeout of 5 minutes and immediately after it asks for the passcode on the device, though this setting is not being applied and the device timeout setting can be set as "Never" on the user's end. This is a big security risk for the company I work for and and the issue with being HIPAA compliant.
According to the Microsoft Intune Support, "In iOS 18, when using Account-Driven User Enrollment for BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) scenarios, the screen lock timeout setting is indeed marked as “Not Applicable”. This is because Apple’s privacy-preserving model for personal devices restricts administrative control over system-level settings like screen lock or idle timeout."
I am needing clarification on the item mentioned from Microsoft Intune Support and if this setting is no longer able to be applied from the MDM with devices enrolled with Account Driven User Enrollment?
I have an in house application that I develop for my company.
The application requires our corporate MDM profile is installed on the phone. I recently got a new phone and our corporate IT team installed the MDM profile and the Comp Portal application for me to manage our corporate applications.
I installed the application through the Comp Portal. It crashes right away when I launch the application and I see this error message in the Console when connected to the phone:
"SpringBoard Snapshot generation request for bundleID: com.mycompany.mygroup.appName rejected due to the app being denylisted."
I see other errors from runningboardd about failing to spawn the job and SpringBoard Bootstrapping failed for <FBApplicationProcess: 0x510affd80; app<com.mycompany.mygroup.appName>:> with error: <NSError: 0x301e60090; domain: RBSRequestErrorDomain; code: 5; "Launch failed.">
I can launch a development version of the application with no problem by connecting the USB cable from my machine to my device and running through XCode.
Other people have no problems launching the application. I compared all the certificates in the management profile with another device where the application does not crash and there are identical.
We checked a number of settings on the devices to see if there could be something preventing the application from running but found nothing.
We reset all settings and deleted and reinstalled the application with rebooting to see if perhaps it was an incomplete installation. Our IT folks want to wipe the phone and start over but I have little confidence that will fix the issue since we don't know the root cause.
I am concerned that one of my Stakeholders might have the same issue if they get a new device. This application worked fine on my old phone.

Set default MDM for iPad to my development MDM server on Apple Business Manager.
Call the new API https://developer.apple.com/documentation/devicemanagement/account_driven_enrollment_profile and 200 OK is returned
However the service discovery fails with the following error.

We’re using the Apple Developer Enterprise Program for internal app distribution. The Apple ID is a generic one using our domain email, but the Account Holder is a real person with authority in the organization.
For the payment method, we plan to use a corporate credit card — but it is issued under a different staff name (e.g. card under Chief, but Account Holder is IT Head).
Just want to check:

The panic occurred on CPU core 3.
The kernel backtrace points to the com.apple.driver.AppleSEPManager kernel extension as the immediate caller in the main kernel that initiated the panic process after receiving the signal from the SEP.
Analysis/Interpretation:
Based on the log, it appears that the MDM ClearPasscode command, which necessarily interacts with the SEP's Secure Key Store via the AppleSEPManager driver, triggered an internal fault or bug within the SEP firmware (AppleSEPOS). This SEP-level panic subsequently caused the main iOS kernel to panic.

Has anyone else encountered similar SEP panics, specifically involving the SKS subsystem, particularly after issuing MDM commands like ClearPasscode on iOS 18.x builds (especially 18.3.2 / 22D82)?

I'm hoping to make certain in-house apps fail to launch by revoking the in-house certificate that they were built on. This is by way of encouraging users of these apps to download updates built on a new certificate.
How long will it take app built on a now-revoked certificate to no longer launch?
Also, what is Apple's process for checking the validity of an in-house certificate in an app built on that certificate, running on iOS devices?
I understand that provisioning profiles have built-in expiration dates, but will an in-house app that's built on a valid provisioning profile keep running even on a revoked certificate if the revocation happened before the certificate's own expiration date?

Apologies if this has been asked before, but I am struggling to understand what our options are for app distribution for a new (to our company) use case. Note: we have both an Enterprise account as well as a standard App Store account.
We are developing an Apple Vision app for a client company. We need to be able to distribute the app to people within our company as well as within the client company for testing. Once that is complete, we need to be able to distribute the app to a select group of employees in the client company. The client company does not have an MDM, so we originally thought to distribute the app using TestFlight. But that is not available with our Enterprise account.
Is this something we can manage with a Business account since the devices involved would belong to our client company instead of ours? Is there a different solution to this workflow within the existing tools provided by Apple? Or is the only option to help the client set up an MDM/set up our own MDM to manage client devices for this?

During VPP app installation, the app-device asset association event took longer than the usual maximum of 30 seconds to complete, regardless of the number of app licenses involved.
In the RequestRequiresNetworkTether property, the definition of “network-tethered” is unclear, and there seems to be a discrepancy between the actual behavior and the description in the documentation.
We would like to clarify the definition of the connection state that “network-tethered” means and the specific behavior requirements when the property is set to true.
