Not able to log proc ID in controlFilter
I was trying to log the flow description using control filter and data filter. But when I am trying to log the proc ID in control filter, it is always 0, but in data filter, it logs some value. Same goes with the eproc ID. I want to use the flow description data in some other target so I will be sending the data using sockets and I cannot share data from data filter due to its restrictions and control filter isn't providing the proc ID. What should I do?

The app icon is not appearing under the "From Apps on Your iPhone" section in Apple Wallet.
Hello, We are integrating Apple Wallet functionality using the Thales SDK. While we’ve successfully implemented In-App provisioning, we are encountering an issue with the Wallet Extension. I followed the documentation provided here to implement the Apple Wallet Extension: https://developer.dbp.thalescloud.io/docs/d1-developer-portal/ab10ea4059dx1-apple-wallet-extension I’ve implemented everything as per the guide, but I’m still unable to see my app logo in the Wallet Extension under "From Apps on Your iPhone." Could anyone help identify what might be missing or point me in the right direction to resolve this issue. Thanks!

Screen-time in Device Activity Report Extension vs In Phone Settings
Am showing daily screen-time of a user in my app in Device Activity Report Extension. The only way to get that is to sum up all the activityDuration of apps/categories/domains. But it differs a lot from phone's settings screen-time, why? I have debugged in details and counted manually the time spent on each app and it turned out that the calculation is appearing correctly in my app but Phone settings showing quite less time on top (Day).

Touchscreen gestures in CarPlay aren't recognized in the app
Touchscreen gestures in CarPlay aren't recognized in the app (delegate CPMapTemplateDelegate functions aren't called). Tried also in the Coastal Roads demo app to add test functions to check that pan functions are called - the same: func mapTemplateDidBeginPanGesture(_ mapTemplate: CPMapTemplate) { MemoryLogger.shared.appendEvent("Did begin pan gesture.") } func mapTemplate(_ mapTemplate: CPMapTemplate, panBeganWith direction: CPMapTemplate.PanDirection) { MemoryLogger.shared.appendEvent("Did begin pan gesture with direction \(direction.rawValue).") } Note: buttons (on carplay app) are working when pressing on them. Also, the desktop of carplay can be panned (by swipe gesture). Using Xcode 14.3, MacBook pro M1

Can users create their own subscription plans?
I'm considering developing an app where users can create their own subscription plans by freely setting their prices, similar to YouTube's membership feature. I understand that in-app purchases must be used to unlock features within the app. With that in mind, I searched for APIs to enable this functionality but couldn't find relevant information. When I contacted Apple directly, they mentioned that they couldn't provide specific answers unless the app is under review. If anyone has knowledge about the following points, I would greatly appreciate your response: Is it possible to implement a feature similar to YouTube's membership using in-app purchase APIs? If it's not feasible with in-app purchases, is it allowed to use external payment services like Stripe?

Launch URL
Hi I am developing a game app with Epic Unreal Engine. I am testing this as testFlight these days. My problem is “launch URL” what a function in Unreal Engine. This is a function that allows user to search the Internet with the entered URL. It worked well before. But not now. I don't know when it did start not working. It's like after the iPhone IOS update or the Xcode update. Mac sequoia 15.1.1 Xcode 16.2 ( Unreal Engine 5.4.4 ) IOS is 18.2. but It didn't work since the just previous version. Any advice can I get?

The UWB performance of iOS18 is different from that of iOS17
Hello, dear engineer: The UWB Accessory used by my APP has inconsistent code callbacks on iOS17 and iOS18. I have connected multiple UWB Accessory by Accessory Single Configuration Data (UUID: 95e8d9d5-d8ef-4721-9a4e-807375f53328) in the APP. In iOS17.5.1, the unconnected Accessory calls the func session in the NiSessionDelegate (_ session: NISession, didRemove nearbyObjects: [NINearbyObject], "reason: NINearbyObject RemovalReason)," reason is the timeout. iOS18.0.1 does not call didRemove and fails to connect automatically after 10 minutes on the disconnected Accessory. iOS18.2 does not call didRemove. After 10 minutes, when the Accessory is not connected, it automatically connects and starts ranging. Therefore, I would like to ask what is updated in iOS18 UWB? Is there a document for reference, or can you provide the callback performance of each iOS version for UWB? The code is as follows: niConfiguration = try NINearbyAccessoryConfiguration(data: Data(AccessoryUwbConfigData)) uwbSession.run(niConfiguration)

App Store Review always got 4.3 for my apps
I created an app and submitted to app store for review and got a rejection with "4.3(a) - Design - Spam". This one was created for brand new, and I didn't find any similar apps in App store. I searched in this forum but am not sure if it is because I used flutter to build my app? How could I get a bit more specific detail why it got rejected? Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam We noticed your app shares a similar binary, metadata, and/or concept as apps submitted to the App Store by other developers, with only minor differences. Submitting similar or repackaged apps is a form of spam that creates clutter and makes it difficult for users to discover new apps. Next Steps Since we do not accept spam apps on the App Store, we encourage you to review your app concept and submit a unique app with distinct content and functionality.

Embedding automation command line tool into an AppStore app
I am developing a macOS word-processing app that should be distributed via the Apple App Store. Some of the app's functions like generating HTML and PDF exports should be automatable via Shortcuts and via shell scripts. To support the latter, I plan to include a command line tool inside the app that can be called from the Terminal or a shell script. The tool should be able to instruct the main app to then perform the desired commands. A well-known AppStore app that uses this design is BBEdit which also contains multiple command line tools that offer functionality from the main app to users of the Terminal. My technical questions now are: Should the command line tool executable be sandboxed and if yes, how? Even after many trials, I have not found a way to make a working sandboxed command line tool. If a sandboxed tool is started from the Terminal, it is immediately terminated with an exception in _libsecinit_appsandbox.cold.12. I am aware of the Apple developer documentation article Embedding A Helper Tool In A Sandboxed App, but it addresses a different architecture in which the helper tool is started from the main app and therefore is able to inherit its sandbox. BBEdit is only sandboxing the main app, but not its embedded command line tools and is still allowed in the App Store. Is this the way to go for me as well or does BBEdit get some special treatment in the App Store? How can the command line tool pass the permission to access files to the main app? As my main app is sandboxed, it needs explicit permission from the user to be able to access files. Users of a command line tool give this permission by providing file paths as arguments. How can I pass these permissions along to the main app? BBEdit is able to do this even when the user has not given it full-disk access. I know that it is using Apple Events for the communication between the command line tool and the main app, but I am not sure how this allows to pass permissions. Can anyone shed light on how to implement a solution here? Thanks!

Unable to install an app extension when running it for debugging
I've got an app with several app extensions (call extension, action extension, notification service extension, message filtering extension, notification content extension). If I need to interactively debug these then I can select the scheme and run the extension within Xcode for all of them except for the notification content extension, with that I get an error dialog summary saying: Failed to install the app on the device / The provided item to be installed is not of a type that CoreDevice recognizes. Which when expanded has the blumpf posted below. Why can I not run the notification content extension, when I can run any other type of app extension? Failed to install the app on the device. Apple Push Notification service server certificate update
You are probably aware of the upcoming root certificate change for any servers you might have that you use to send push notifications by connection to APNs. If you are not, here is the announcement. We have been getting some questions about this, and understand not everyone is familiar with their server setup. First, we would like to clarify that this is only a change to your server's certificate trust store. You do not need to update anything else, like your APNs push certificates, the build certificates and provisioning profiles for your team/app, and so on. All you need to do is to install the mentioned new root certificate to your push server's trust store. If you are using a 3rd party push provider, it is them who will need to handle their servers. But you may want to double check with them nevertheless. If you are managing your own push servers that connect to APNs directly, then it is your responsibility to download and install the root certificate mentioned in the above link on your server(s). Unfortunately we cannot provide specific instructions on how to install this root certificate on every kind of server out there. Each server operating system/push server software will have different ways these root certificates are installed, which is out of scope of our support abilities. If you are not sure how to do this, I would recommend you seek help for this from your server-side developers or server admins. Or, if you don't have access to such resources, you can ask the support channels for your system the question: How do I install a root certificate? We have setup a test server at 17.188.143.34:443 that you can use to try and send pushes to test whether your new root certificate is correctly installed. An alternative way to test this would be, from a terminal prompt: openssl s_client -connect 17.188.143.34:443 -servername api.sandbox.push.apple.com -verifyCAfile USERTrustRSACertificationAuthority.crt -showcerts Change the parameter to the -verifyCAfile argument to point to your trust store, and it should allow you to validate Sample return results would be: Connecting to 17.188.143.34 CONNECTED(00000003) depth=2 C=US, ST=New Jersey, L=Jersey City, O=The USERTRUST Network, CN=USERTrust RSA Certification Authority verify return:1 depth=1 CN=Apple Public Server RSA CA 11 - G1, O=Apple Inc., ST=California, C=US verify return:1 depth=0 C=US, ST=California, O=Apple Inc., CN=api.sandbox.push.apple.com verify return:1 Argun Tekant /  DTS Engineer / Core Technologies

Is original_transaction_id and transaction_id globally unique?
Hello, Apple App Store Server API Team! I have one questions about the identifiers provided by Apple App Store Server API. Could you please answer? We are running an iOS App. In our app, the transactionId we get from Apple App Store Server API is called T1. (Example) Q1. Is it correct that other iOS apps cannot get T1 for transactionId from Apple App Store Server API? (I'm wondering if the transactionId is globally unique across apps.) Thank you!

MacOS Sequoia install error
Good day. Installed Sequoia Developer Beta. After that, the laptop started to behave incorrectly, programs over 1 GB stopped installing, updates were not installed, sometimes it rebooted spontaneously. Decided to roll back. With the help of another Macbook, I managed to install 14.6.1. Errors remained. Updates are not installed. Tried to restore through the recovery menu, error at 52 minutes, using a boot disk, the same error. What else can I do? Mac Book Pro M1 16gb/2tb

How can I create a AppIntent with SwiftData correctly?
I currently create a AppIntent that contains a custom AppEntity, it shows like this struct GetTimerIntent: AppIntent { static let title: LocalizedStringResource = "Get Timer" @Parameter(title: "Timer") var timer: TimerEntity func perform() async throws -> some IntentResult { .result(value: timerText(timer.entity)) } static var parameterSummary: some ParameterSummary { Summary("Get time of \(\.$timer)") } func timerText(_ timer: ETimer) -> String { // Implementation Folded } } struct TimerEntity: AppEntity { var entity: ETimer static let defaultQuery: TimerQuery = .init() static var typeDisplayRepresentation: TypeDisplayRepresentation { TypeDisplayRepresentation(name: "Timer") } var id: UUID { entity.identifier } var displayRepresentation: DisplayRepresentation { DisplayRepresentation(title: "\(entity.title)") } } To get the timers, I create a TimerQuery type to fetch them from SwiftData containers. struct TimerQuery: EntityQuery, Sendable { func entities(for identifiers: [UUID]) async throws -> [TimerEntity] { print(identifiers) let context = ModelContext(ModelMigration.sharedContainer) let descriptor = FetchDescriptor<ETimer>( predicate: #Predicate { identifiers.contains($0.identifier) }, sortBy: [.init(\.index)] ) let timers = try context.fetch(descriptor) print(timers.map(\.title)) return timers.map { TimerEntity(entity: $0) } } } Everything looks make sense since I code it. When I'm testing, the console jump No ConnectionContext found for 105553169752832 and I can't get my datas. How can I solve this issue?

fileImporter modifier: Problem to get a positive App Store Connect Feedback
I have written an App with a fileIpmorter modifier. I used TestFlight to pass it to friend for a test. The App works fine until my friend uses the fileImporter function: He can select the file to import (simple csv file), the fileImporter closes without having read out the csv file! I was able to analyze that the do-catch-block within the fileImporter modifier throws an error at the mac of my friend. The App behaves totally different to my Mac: On my Mac it works perfectly: the csv file is read out and the data can be used within the APP. Why does it behave like this? Why does this happen to the mac of my friend but not on mine? More strange: The Apple team is not able to even use the csv-file I passed them in the App Store Connect process: They are not able to select the file in the downloads folder. All three used MAC´s with three different behaviors? - How comes?
