Unexpected ONE_TIME_CHARGE Refund Callback After Successful Purchase
We are using consumable in-app purchases. Starting from May 27th, we began receiving refund callbacks with the notificationType set to ONE_TIME_CHARGE immediately after users successfully completed a payment. { "notificationType": "ONE_TIME_CHARGE", "signedPayload": "..." } During this period, we did not make any changes to our App release or server-side purchase handling logic. Could this issue result in actual refunds being processed? What steps should we take to resolve this issue? We also noticed in your changelog that a new notification type ONE_TIME_CHARGE has been introduced. Can we safely ignore callbacks with the ONE_TIME_CHARGE notification type without affecting refund processing or user experience?

How to validate Streamlined Purchasing with storekit 2
users download app with Streamlined Purchasing ,but the logic of checking subscription doesn't work. there the code: func checkSubscriptionStatus() async { for await entitlement in Transaction.currentEntitlements { guard case .verified(let transaction) = entitlement else { continue } if transaction.productID == monthlyProductID || transaction.productID == yearlyProductID { if transaction.revocationDate == nil && !transaction.isUpgraded { let activeSubscribed = transaction.expirationDate ?? .distantFuture > .now if activeSubscribed { hasActiveSubscription = activeSubscribed // other operation } } } } }

Handling failed transactions in Storekit 2
When simulating a Storekit error like an invalid device verification or others of that type, should we finish a failed transaction? When I test with a Storekit configuration file, all failed transactions persist after every restart. The Apple-provided sample code for Storekit 2 has transactions finished only when they are successful.

InApp purchases ok and ko at the same time (?!)
I'm working on an app the has implemented inapp purchases. They have been working so far, and they keep working currently. But just a couple of days ago, a specific user sent us a support ticket stating that when he purchases and item the bank charges it for the purchase, but within the app, the purchase fails and he doesn't receive the item. He sent us screenshots showing: The iOS native modal when a purchases has been finished correctly ("You're all set - Your purchase was successful "). Right after that modal, the app shows an internal modal showing "The purchase failed, please, try again later". Checking the app logs, that failure modal was triggered by "The operation couldn’t be completed. (StoreKit.StoreKitError error 1.)". Reading docs about this error leads me to think about device or user restrictions (parental controls, usage limits, etc...). It seems that in theses cases the bank charge could be issued but refunded later once Apple ultimately declines the purchase. However the user says that he doesn't have any kind of restriction. The only related thing is a "this device is also restricted by a profile" message, but everyone seems to have this message. What could it be causing this issue? In what scenariowould the app show a native OK modal but a storekit error 1? I'm pretty sure the app is well configured because I keep receiving purchases of all kind, from different users with any problem.

Subscription Cancellation
Hi Team, I’ve successfully implemented the subscription flow for my app. However, I’m currently facing challenges related to testing the cancellation behavior for auto-renewable subscriptions. Specifically: I’m unable to locate the correct payload structure for the following test endpoint: https://api.storekit-sandbox.itunes.apple.com/inApps/v1/notifications/test I’m also unclear on how to simulate or complete the full lifecycle of a subscription (including cancellation) using Apple’s sandbox environment or APIs. Could you please guide me on how to: Retrieve or construct the proper payload for the test notification API? Simulate a cancellation flow end-to-end in the sandbox for auto-renewable subscriptions?

[StoreKit External Purchase] Testing token retrieval in development environment with React Native
Question on token testing in development: Hello, I'm developing a React Native application using StoreKit External Purchase. I'm having difficulties testing the transaction token retrieval in the development environment. Specific questions: Is it possible to test the transaction token retrieval in development/sandbox environment? Is there a special testing mode for developers that would allow simulating token reception without going through the App Store? Are there specific debugging tools to verify proper token reception? Question on native implementation: Regarding the native implementation of StoreKit External Purchase: Is there detailed documentation on creating native modules for React Native that implement StoreKit External Purchase? Can you confirm if the following approach is correct for native implementation: Using NSClassFromString(@"ExternalPurchase") Calling presentNoticeSheetWithURL:completion: Retrieving the token in the completion block Are there any code examples for complete native implementation? Question on implementation validation: For validating StoreKit External Purchase implementation: How can we verify that our implementation is correct before App Store submission? Are there validation tools or automated tests to check compliance? What are common errors to avoid during implementation? Question on best practices: Regarding implementation best practices: What's the best way to handle potential errors during token retrieval? How to handle cases where the user cancels the transaction? What are the recommended security checks for server-side token validation? Question on documentation: I'm looking for additional resources on StoreKit External Purchase: Is there specific documentation for integration with frameworks like React Native? Are there complete code examples for native implementation? Where can I find information about testing and debugging best practices? Additional technical question: Technical implementation details: What's the correct way to handle the ExternalPurchase class initialization in React Native native modules? Are there specific requirements for the URL passed to presentNoticeSheetWithURL? How should we handle the token in the completion block to ensure it's properly passed back to React Native? Question on testing workflow: Testing workflow questions: What's the recommended testing workflow for External Purchase implementation? How can we verify the token format and validity before production deployment? Are there any tools or methods to simulate the complete purchase flow in development?

Operation of Server Notifications V2 when Apple account is withdrawal
Please allow me to confirm the Server Notifications V2 specification. I am aware that if withdrawal an Apple account that has a subscription, the subscription will eventually be cancelled. Regarding Server Notifications V2 notifications with a notificationType of EXPIRED, am I correct in thinking that they will be sent when the subscription expires even if the Apple account is withdrawal?

appTransactionID behavior on logout
The appTransactionID was recently introduced and is documented here: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/storekit/apptransaction/apptransactionid From the documentation: "The App Store generates a single, globally unique appTransactionID for each Apple Account that downloads your app and for each family group member for apps that support Family Sharing." This seems like a really useful identifier, so I was wondering about some edge cases of when using it: What happens if a user logs out of his AppStore account and keeps using the app? Is it available when the app is installed from Xcode? is it possible to set it to some value using StoreKit testing? Thanks

Guideline 2.1 - Performance - App Completeness We found that your in-app purchase products exhibited one or more bugs which create a poor user experience. Specifically, we were unable to make purchase. The Start Free Trail button was unresponsive t
I've been stuck with this rejection. Trial button 'greyed out' or non responsive. What they are seeing is my subscriptions not loading into the pay wall. We think its because the subscriptions haven't been reviewed and approved in order for them to populate the pay wall (activating the pay wall so it isn't 'greyed out'. Has anyone had and solved this issue?

tvOS In-App Purchase – App Not Returning After Redirecting to Settings for Apple ID Verification
I'm encountering an issue with In-App Purchases on Apple TV (tvOS): When a user initiates an IAP for the first time, the system prompts them to sign in with their Apple ID, and the purchase proceeds normally. However, on subsequent purchase attempts, if the Apple ID session has expired or additional verification is required, the system redirects the user to the Settings app to sign in again. After the user signs in via Settings, the app does not automatically return to the foreground. The user must manually press the Menu button to come back. Is this is the normal behaviour of apple tv for InApp purchase? or did I need any code improvement to solve this? What I'm trying to achieve: I'd like the app to automatically return to the foreground once the user has completed the Apple ID login in Settings. Is this behavior supported on tvOS? If not, is there any known workaround or best practice to guide the user back to the app smoothly? Any advice or guidance from Apple or other developers would be greatly appreciated!

subscriptionPeriod.unit returns both .week AND .day for weekly subscriptions?
After creating a new weekly subscription option, I get inconsistent results for subscriptionPeriod. In local testing with a synced or a un-synced StoreKit file I am getting unit == .week (as expected) whereas in TestFlight I am getting unit == .day. This makes unit.localizedDescriptionsomewhat unusable in the paywall. Am I missing something? Or is this bug or a limitation of StoreKit and/or TestFlight and/or newly created subscription options? Affected code (in a custom SubscriptionStoreControlStyle): private func priceDisplay(for pickerOption: Configuration.PickerOption) -> String { var result = "" if pickerOption.introductoryOffer != nil { result += NSLocalizedString("then", comment: "") + " " } result += pickerOption.displayPrice if let unit = pickerOption.subscriptionPeriod?.unit { result += " / " + unit.localizedDescription } return result } private func percentageSaved(for pickerOption: Configuration.PickerOption, allOptions: [Product]) -> Int? { guard let subscriptionPeriod = pickerOption.subscriptionPeriod, subscriptionPeriod != .weekly else { return nil } let weeklyOption = allOptions.first { otherOption in otherOption.subscription?.subscriptionPeriod == .weekly } guard let weeklyOption, weeklyOption.price > 0 else { return nil } let percentageSaved = 100 - (pickerOption.price / (weeklyOption.price * 52)) * 100 return Int((percentageSaved as NSNumber).doubleValue) }

inApps/v2/history/ of AppleStoreServerAPI
https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appstoreserverapi/get-v2-history-_transactionid I would like to inquire about the detailed triggers for updating receipts in this API specification. Recently, I was using this API with sort=DESCENDING&revoked=false to retrieve the expiration date of the most recent receipt and determine the subscription status. However, for some reason, an old receipt with an earlier expiration date appeared as the first receipt, and I would like to know the reason for this. Can you provide information on what specific events or actions trigger the updating of receipts in this API? Also, regarding https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appstoreserverapi/status, will statuses 3 and 4 not be returned in the response unless the billing grace period is enabled in the App Store?

AppStore response times for the store test environment to make purchases is very long.
I enter the payment wall, there it takes more or less 3 to 4 minutes to show the plans, when I select the monthly plan the loader is shown and from there the pop up to make the purchase in sandbox does not appear, I have waited until a maximum of 50 minutes and it is not shown, I go back and close the app I do the same steps and I am still there, without showing the pop up. Doing this same process in xcode, everything happens immediately without any interruption.

Problem with siubscriptions in Sandbox
The phone is set up with the developer program to cancel subscriptions from the app we developed. However, after the OS update on the phone, the subscriptions no longer appear in the developer program, although the subscription does exist in the app itself. Get the region currently used in the macOS App Store
How can I get the region region currently used in the macOS App Store? Preferably via Swift libraries, but any command / function will suffice. The following StoreKit property seems to always return the region for the Apple Account associated with my macOS user. await Storefront.current?.countryCode See the Apple docs. My macOS Apple Account region is US; in the App Store, when I sign into a different Apple Account whose region is GB (UK), Storefront.current?.countryCode continues to return US, not GB (or UK). I correctly see prices in pounds instead of in dollars, British spelling instead of American spelling, apps listed in my purchased tab for the UK (not the US) Apple Account, and, in the Account Settings dialog, the UK Apple Account email address, billing address & Country/Region set to United Kingdom. I didn't get any relevant results from the following command lines: defaults find GB defaults find UK defaults find uk-apple-id@example.com defaults find uk-apple-id The following didn't change after I signed into the UK Apple Account in the App Store: $ defaults read com.apple.AppStoreComponents { ASCLocaleID = "en-US@calendar=gregorian"; } Maybe Storefront.current?.countryCode only specifies the country code for the Storefront that will be used for in-app purchases, instead of for purchasing new apps from the App Store; maybe the former is tied to the Apple Account for the macOS user, instead of to the Apple Account for the App Store. If that's the case, what other mechanism can I use to obtain the country code for the App Store storefront?
