Thanks for the post, this looks like a night and day change based on the picture the outside looks like day light and night.

In CarPlay, which typically refers to the automatic switching between light and dark modes based on ambient light, may not be directly possible through a specific setting within CarPlay itself, as this behavior is often controlled by the iPhone’s settings and the car’s system.

• iPhone Display Settings:
  • Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  • Go to Display & Brightness.
  • Under Appearance, select either Light or Dark to fix the mode to your preference instead of using Automatic.

In addition to the light / dark appearance differences between the two photos of the CarPlay UI, it looks like your car's system may sometimes be reporting itself as being right-hand-drive and other times as left-hand-drive. This is what causes the CarPlay UI to reverse the position of the app Dock and status bar, and to reverse the arrangement of the Dashboard.

This type of issue is unfortunately on the car side.
